Connecticut governor: NRA is a 'terrorist organization'

Glad he tells it like it is , hopefully more will come out and call this terrorist organization out for what it is

Gov. Dannel Malloy compared the NRA to such groups multiple times, saying it has evolved into a different organization from what it used to be more than a decade ago.

He is wrong. It is the same organization it always was. It's just no one was trying to steal our guns a decade ago. They have stepped up to stop you from stepping all over our rights.

The NRA’s opposition to gun control, however, is only a few decades , according to Adam Winkler author of the book Gunfight: The Battle Over the Right to Bear Arms in America. “Historically,” writes Winkler, “the leadership of the NRA was more open-minded about gun control than someone familiar with the modern NRA might imagine.”

Not only did the NRA support gun control for much of the 20th century, its leadership in fact lobbied for and co-authored gun control legislation.

That was before the gun manufacturers began pouring millions to the NRA to lobby congress for the perpetual and additional sales of weapons.

Then the NRA must have giving that money to DumBama. He was Americas best gun salesman of all time.

Just so that you don't appear as too much of an idiot....

Here's how the gun lobby allocates its bribes......

$5,900,000
given to Republicans in 2016 election cycle

$106,000
given to Democrats in 2016 election cycle

The bulk of the NRA's money now comes in the form of contributions, grants, royalty income, and advertising, much of it originating from gun industry sources.

Since 2005, the gun industry and its corporate allies have given between $20 million and $52.6 million to it through the NRA Ring of Freedom sponsor program. Donors include firearm companies like Midway USA, Springfield Armory Inc, Pierce Bullet Seal Target Systems, and Beretta USA Corporation. Other supporters from the gun industry include Cabala's, Sturm Rugar & Co, and Smith & Wesson.

And it's pittance in comparison to all money collected. The NRA does not have much power with the Republicans, it's the constituency that does. Most of us are constitutionalists and supporters of our right to own and carry guns. Votes speak much louder than money

Our CCW program was signed into law by A DEMOCRAT GOVERNOR. Even he knew that vetoing the law would have cost him his reelection.

So what you're saying is that gun manufacturers contribute money to an organization that helps provide them the freedom to sell their manufactured goods. Imagine that!!!!

Then you must be furious about the 25 million dollar bribe Soros allocated to the Democrats and Htlery, not to mention all that bribe money to Obama...

Left unsaid in this "analysis" is the NRA's long history of stoking and exploiting racial fears, prime examples of which are racially charged comments by both NRA leader Wayne LaPierre and NRA board member Ted Nugent, an NRA-produced graphic novel that critics say had "deliberate racial overtones," and an NRA report that claimed race, not access to guns, plays a "significant" role in murders.

NRA Says "Race-Baiting" "Mainstream Media" Puts On A "Modern-Day Minstrel Show"
You deny that over 50 percent of all murder is done by blacks? A group that makes up 13 percent of the population?
Just more bleating and mewing of the dying NRA demographic

Dying? What is THAT based on? Your city slicker demographic??

Go push harder.. See how DEEP that support goes. I've had NRA membership on/off over 30 years or so. Considering rejoining..

That's exactly the comparison I'm making. DumBama's plans was to force Americans to BUY HEALTH INSURANCE POLICIES FROM HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANIES and he and the Democrats got generous contributions from the health industry including pharmaceutical companies. You know, those people that make things like birth control and the morning after pills?
