Pope Francis has denounced the global financial system, blasting the "cult of money" that he says is tyrannizing the poor and turning humans into expendable consumer goods.
He seems to forget that without " money" we go back to swords, clubs and rocks as a method of acquiring goods. As a member of the worlds poor, I am sure I would rather be treated as a commidity than be used for target practice by an invader. The sooner the "cult" extends its threads in the world the better off the poor wil be.
