Eh, not sure that's really true. I think what Atlantic City is seeing is that they've gotten stale and businesses became too complacent, so people started taking their money elsewhere. Same thing is happening in the resort town where I live. For years things have been going down hill for years. It's gotten to the point that the area is over saturated with people trying to sell something, but pretty much nobody bothering to offer much worth buying. The best hotels are dingy, the best restaurants are cookie cutter, the best activities feature worn down facilities. And everything is extremely expensive. Customer service is piss-poor everywhere in town because after years and years of getting away with a "fuck you, someone else will come and spend their money" attitude, most people have forgotten what service actually means.
