I have placed the candidates in the order I believe they ranked in the debate.
First = winner,
Rubio: impressive
Cruz: impressive (closing remarks might move him to first place)
Huckabee: impressive
Bush: about as expected(I appreciated his common core answer)
Christie: same as expected (too RINO for me)
Rand Paul: less impressive than expected. Christie bested him in their dust up.
Trump: less impressive than expected (but not terrible).
Walker: not impressive. Had some good answers but just didn't resonate.
Kasich: same as expected (too RINO for me).
Carson: less than I hoped.(just doesn't have the knowledge and experience required). I loved his closing remarks.
I appreciated it when they gave specifics. I will enjoy it when the debate consists of less than 10 people. I don't feel that each candidate got adequate time.
On the first debate, Perry made one statement that really resonated. He said that he would rather see Carly Fiorina negotiating for us in the world than John Kerry. I think Fiorina would make a magnificent Secretary of State.
