No thank you.Let’s cut the war department instead. It does nothing but waste money and kill innocent people.
Rather, we continue to require a very strong military, to protect ourselves and our interests.
Throwing in the towel and disbanding the military and sliding into naive isolationism is a recipe for national suicide.
From an American perspective what is needed is a more judicious use of funds for equipping and utilizing that military.
There are vast amounts of money to be saved by reforming military R&D and procurement and production and provisioning and logistics.
A more selfish and consistent and long-running range of bipartisan policies regarding national defense readiness and deployment would help greatly.
