The former marine didn't have his hands around the lunatic's throat....he had him in a headlock to restrict his movements so he couldn't hurt anyone.

Studying the video, I see him being restrained around the neck, but I don't see him being choked of air. No gasping for breath, no panicked expression. The ME's conclusion was probably affected by the optics, and outside pressure. Could he have simply died from the overall trauma due to underlying health conditions? Others at the scene didn't think he was in respiratory distress.

Light pressure on the carotid artery can cause a person to pass out. You don’t have to apply much force at all.

A loud man with psycho!ogical issues was choked for 15 minutes until he was dead. What about this needs further clarification? All one can do is throw out platitudes and opinions. I am not God, nor the police or courts.
