What the Democrats have done is exploited the people with Government Give-aways.

The more dependent the people become on the Government, the more they vote for Democrats who find new ways to make people more dependent upon the Government.

Tyranny of the worse sorts as the people, much as the frog who jumped into the pot of cool water which later boiled, become more dependent upon the Government surrender more and more of their rights and freedoms to that same Government until they are nothing more than serfs at best and slaves at the worst. Working only to feed the beast that supposedly "provides" for them.

The last time this nation was debt free was in 1835 under Andrew Jackson that lasted one year every since then we have been racking up debt that is 177 years so three men are responsible for the bulk of a 177 years worth of debt good grief.

nice....and, I have pointed this out before, since you brought it up I'll do so again;


before 1992;


-notice the string of control there after 1933, FDR etc. with the exception of one term ( 2 years, 49-51) in the house, there was 60 years of Democratic majority (46 at one stretch) , and in the house there is no filibuster etc. the majority leader and the majority party runs the show, period.

- notice the senate, out of 60 years the senate was gop just 10 of those......and only concomitantly with the house for 2 years, again 49-51.

- its worth checking the years that the dems in the senate also had a supra majority.....


So when did all of this polarization begin?

and, looking at a wide swath history displayed in the whole on an easily digestible chart like this, you can I think draw at least one conclusion; its definitely a paradigm shift in that since 1992, the gop has had a great deal more success than here to fore, post 1933.....they doubled their senate time in the majority and tripled it in the house, in just 10 years, than in the previous 60..... food for thought.
