I don't know, maybe they shouldn't make stupid statements like "This is a referendum against Trump", or maybe they can learn not to spend a bazillion dollars on a race they can't win? That's two things, theres more.

Well the thing here is that this is a special election which means there will probably be an election in 2018. This is a district that had not voted democrat for almost 40 years. If things continue as they are, you really need to be concerned with 2018.

There is nothing for me to learn here. I'm neither surprised or shocked that republicans won special elections in majority republican districts.

What the regressives still haven't figured out is how repellent they are as people. They don't realize that their behaviors and attitudes are noxious and annoying (or perhaps they don't care, see the last sentence, below), and they're damaging their party as a result.

Constantly mocking, attacking, insulting and belittling people who dare to disagree with you is not a smart campaign tactic. But their narcissism has blinded to this (what should be obvious) fact.

There have been quite a few real liberals who have pointed this out, who have tried to reason with the regressives, but so far, no luck.

Here's the sad thing: The regressives are gleefully waiting for demographics to take over for them, and they therefore see no reason to be less noxious as a result - and they may well be right.

The recent special elections are noted to be in GOP safe seats. GOP allocated resources so badly, they almost lost a GOP safe seat in South Carolina.
