For Beto's gun confiscation program, thinking that citizens can defend themselves from the rise of fascism in the USA, seems sorta pointless considering that predator drones would be one of the resources fascists have. ICE could quickly start going after US citizens, if they havent already.

Perhaps Beto is just trying to shift the overton window instead of trying to win, but making gun control the center of his campaign.

NRA is a gun manufacturer lobby group, and they stymie reasonable gun control, but they dont actually call for violence.
