Democrats in California, for example, threatening to make entire state sanctuary state, threatening to withhold funds from the federal government, they're declaring legal war against United States. Democrats in California have so much in common with secessionist from South Carolina prior the civil war. They're reading the Constitution the same way and embracing similar tactics. Democrats today are doing the same as old south was doing in 1860's, developing the "confederate movement" that will resist to "federal government".

The hypocrisy of the left is, they are perfectly OK with powerful federal government, as long they run it. If they're in control, they're perfectly OK to have it run outside of the constitutional boundaries, because they love centralized tyranny.
