Democrats let out a sigh of relief

I can't believe that Biden is the best they have to put up against Trump?!
I'm delighted that the democrats are going to be divided again.
The DNC screwed Bernie by NOT counting the CA votes on time, Bernie should be winning.

Personally, I was hoping that Bernie would do better and be the presidential nominee and have to debate Trump one on one. Because I wanted to see Bernie's wacko commie ideas exposed and destroyed by Trump on national TV..

But the Biden landslide proves the Democrat's have realized how far their party has gone into the land of the looney left, and they needed to adjust course to a more middle of the road agenda. ...

Not really.

Sanders was ALWAYS overrated. Most of his support in 2016 was less "We really love socialism" as "We really don't like Hillary"

So let's look at last nights results compared to 2016

In 2016, Sanders got 49% of the vote in Michigan, last night he got 36
In 2016, Sanders got 49% of the vote in Missouri, last night he got 34
In 2016, Sanders got 17% of the vote in Mississippi, last night he got 14
In 2016, Sanders got 72% of the vote in Washington, last night he got 32
In 2016, Sanders got 78% of the vote in Idaho, last night he got 42
In 2016, Sanders got 64% of the vote in ND, last night he got 48

They won't be divided. They know what a Trump administration looks like.

By the time November rolls around, we'll be in full recession, and divine intervention wouldn't save Trump.

Let's just hope someone secures the Nuke Button in November.

Biden has never declared bankruptcy or cheated on his wives.

More importantly, he has never been impeached

But, what has Joe Biden ACCOMPLISHED?

Frankly, I don't care a rat's behind whether Joe Biden has ever declared bankruptcy or cheated on any of his wives. I don't care if he had been impeached and found not guilty. I don't care what he said to a bunch of jocks 50 years ago.

Tell me exactly what he is going to do to help the economy, put people back to work, increase wages, start bringing manufacturing back to this country. Tell me that Joe Biden is going to re-negotiate faulty trade agreements and what he is going to do to stop the Chinese theft of our intellectual property. Tell me what slow Joe is going to do to secure our Southern Border.

Oh...that's right, President Donald Trump is doing all that already. What is Joe going to do again? I mean other than not be President Trump and not nearly as accomplished.

The Dems would have us all play "Don't Look At That, Look Over Here" but there is no getting around the last 3 years of peace & prosperity or Dem promises to undo everything Trump has done to enable it. Ask 'em how they will make the lives of Americans better they respond "big gov't spending and big new taxes!!"

Norah O'Donnell (CBS) just weeks ago asked Comrade Bernie the $64 Trillion question:

Norah - “Your agenda has promised free healthcare for everybody, free college tuition, and to pay off people’s college loans. The price tag for that is estimated to be $60 trillion dollars over 10 years, correct?”

Sanders - “Well look, we have political opponents who come up…”

Norah - “You don’t know how much your plan costs?”

Sanders - “You don’t know, nobody knows, this is impossible...”

Yeah … OK Bernie.

Smokin' hot Norah … mid-40s with 3 kids:

Amazing how good Trump's Campaign team is with their internal, secret polling... they knew ahead of any Democratic voter, that Biden was the biggest threat to the president.... so much a threat that he and his politicos in his admin risked Trump's impeachment, to go after Joe Biden, he sent Giuliani to the Ukraine to manufacture dirt on him, yes MANUFACTURE dirt on him.... no matter what, try to sink Biden.

And here we were as Democrats, with a huge field of younger or new or female candidates... not even paying attention to Honest Middle Class Joe....yet deep inside, we knew we had him as a left hook, to down Trump if needed.... but not fully aware, if that was even going to be needed...

but Trump knew.... he risked his presidency, for a total knock out of Biden, before the race even began....?

Ah … another traitorous lefty praying for ill to befall Americans. Trump's track record has already been established and Slo-Joe's is coming painfully into focus. The next 5 years will not be happy ones for you.
...Trump is on his third marriage and has openly cheated on all of them. His daughter Tiffany was born out of wedlock. He was banging a porn star while Melania was home caring for his infant son.
I'm not asking him to be my priest. I'm asking him to be tough as nails to stand up to the toughest leaders in the world who would stab us in the back given half a chance. I'm asking him to use his tough leadership and negotiating skills, and unpredictableness learned from decades as a New York developer and Builder for the good of our country.
Voters in November will have a clear choice between the incumbent POTUS who has led with strength and the former VP who clearly is losing his grip. The battle tested America-Firster vs the babbling Obama-Globalist.

No contest. Four more years.

now the key, is who will be, the VP?

Biden will give us some calm, to work us through the transition of the previous bombastic, chaotic, hate filled, and divisive presidency, for 4 years, only one term....

We were so close to getting stuck with Bernie Sanders

Joe Biden was on the ropes. Finishing fourth in early primaries. Pundits were urging him to drop out if he doesn’t pull out S Carolina.

Bernie Sanders was running a Trump campaign. Keep your loyal core of 25 percent support while your dozen opponents fight over 75 percent of the remaining vote.

But while Republicans were greedy in 2016 and refused to take one for the team, Democrats convinced marginal candidates to drop out. This forced Sanders to run one on one against Biden.

Looking at the results tonight, it looks like a Biden landslide.
Aw, what the hell. This is ...

that's not good enough! ok?...
Dems must pretend Slo-Joe is all there and a real contender but they are just whistling past their 2020 election boneyard. Even when they had 2 dozen options they were looking around for something better:

Anxious Democratic Establishment Asks, ‘Is There Anybody Else?’

and for good reason:

Van Jones on Debate: "There Was Nothing I Saw Tonight That Would Be Able To Take Donald Trump Out"

What a crock of corporate duopoly ass kissing horseshit. Those votes show Sanders clearly mopping the floor with Hillary in 2016 despite the Dem Party (disgustingly being run by Hillary for Hillary) fighting him tooth and nail. Way to capitulate, Joe! And RW! Party uber alles! No mat a vut!

"We were so close to getting stuck with Bernie Sanders"
Yeah, gee thanks for handing us Trump for 4 more years...

Yep, this is as disappointing as it gets.
A couple weeks ago, it looked like at the very least, Bernie would be right on the cusp all the way to the convention. The turnaround for Joe is simply unbelievable. Something else has happened, no way Joe pulled this off without some serious manipulation.

I wonder if Joe realizes what happened.

Pence. A Biden win also promises to bring only more evil. Consider his actual history.

nahhhh, he doesn't have an evil bone in his body... his intent has never been to divide this nation, or to do evil... sure he's not perfect, but again, not evil...

he certainly was not my first choice, I was hoping to see a female president...before I die... I would have been fine with Harris, Klobechar, or Warren, though all different....moderates to progressive....

President Trump is evil, if you want to label evil.

lol Well, we don't know if he cheated on any of his wives and he never had job in which he could have been impeached, but we do know he he was almost expelled from law school for plagiarism, had to drop out of the 1988 race because he was caught not only plagiarizing another politician's speech, but also claiming details of that man's life were his own. We do know he led the fight in the Senate against school busing, shilled or the banking industry for his entire careen, even voting against bankruptcy reform that would have allowed poor people to keep their homes, authored the toughest crime bill that has kept many thousands of people in prison for for very long times for minor offenses, stood up on the Senate floor and lied about having read the classified data on Iraq to support the war, and in 2008 said Obama was the first clean, bright articulate black he had ever seen.

But you're right, he never declared bankruptcy.

Biden lost his first wife and infant child in an auto accident.
He has been faithfully married to his second wife for over 40 years

Trump is on his third marriage and has openly cheated on all of them. His daughter Tiffany was born out of wedlock. He was banging a porn star while Melania was home caring for his infant son.
lol You have no idea whether or not Biden cheated on his wives. All that hair sniffing and hugging certainly suggests he wanted to, but maybe he just couldn't close the deal. Who knows?
He has been in the public eye for almost 50 years

Show me something
lol He was a senator from Delaware so no one ever paid much attention to him.
He had some prestigious roles in the Senate. He was very visible as a Senator.

Just wait by the time the debates between Biden and Trump roll around Biden might be running for mayor if he even remembers his name. But I have no doubt he will regale everyone with some made up story that he actually believes happened.

Covfefe!
Well aren't you special. I can tell you and Biden are both winners.

Winger,

I think you realize I know my shit about polling and the electorate. So I'll be serious for a moment. Winning elections is about enthusiasm. When roughly only half the electorate actually shows up to vote, the critical factor is who shows up. :)

Which candidate is able to generate the most enthusiasm to get their voters out to the polls.

Barack Obama was able generate enormous turnout among minority voters. And by minority voters I mean not just Blacks, but Latinos, and Asians as well. I knew Hillary Clinton would not generate any enthusiasm among minority voters. I said this repeatedly before the election and many folks like you said I was wrong. Well I was right. Black women came out in heavy numbers to vote for Hillary, but Black men did not, nor did any other minorities.

Which brings me to sleepy Joe. I do not see any real enthusiasm for Joe. Primary voting for Dems is down 11% compared to the 2008 election cycle when Obama ran. Primary voting was also down for Hillary compared to Obama as well. This is all very bad news for sleepy Joe.

Meanwhile, Trump is breaking Republican primary voting records with no opposition.

Winger, this is bad news for Dems whose heart is deep into socialism but for the most part cannot publicly admit it. Joe is as plain vanilla and status quo as it gets. He is John Kerry only stupider, more corrupt, and if possible, even more out of touch.

Winger if you think I am wrong, please correct me. But I don't think I am. :)

rightwinger
Trump picked up the “I hate Hillary” vote in 2016. I am not sure about Trump, but I hate Hillary. Biden is widely liked.

If you want enthusiasm, look at the 2018 midterm. Dems came out in record numbers on an “I hate Trump” platform

I don’t think Dems have to worry about turnout.

More MAGA Winning: Gallup Poll Has NEVER Recorded This Level Of Economic Optimism
Written by K. Walker on February 6, 2020

Americans feel better about their personal financial situation than they did under Obama, Clinton, or even Reagan. This year-to-year number has been rising since 2018 and has hit a 44-year record high according to Gallup’s “Mood of the Nation” economic survey. Gallup reports that 59% of Americans — nearly six in 10 — say that they are better off financially than they were a year ago, which is up from 50% last year.

[...]

There has also been a sharp decline in the percentage of people who say that they are financially worse off than a year ago. Only 20% of Americans are stating that as their financial reality, and that is a record low.

It was pretty much a very important vote, AGAINST Trump... a near unified vote, against Trump.... the citizens know what they have to do.... in love with Biden or just ho hum over him, they know they have to stick together, to beat Trump... and the turn out was HUGE to do such.... Biden is simply in the right place for the right time...
