We don't need to talk about DACA. There already is a compromise in the Senate that would likely pass. The Republicans refuse to allow a vote. The shutdown is their doing because they want to appeal to their hateful right wing. DACA has bi-partisan support with people who voted for and against Trump. Well, try to follow along here. Congress is trying to pass a continuing resolution to keep the government running. A totally unnecessary action if the two parties just passed a budget. A budget would open the door to your reduced spending, try it sometime.
