"And the nature of the scheme was the kept defendants took extraordinary steps to make it appear that they were ordinary American political activists, even going so far as to base their activities on a virtual private network here in the United States so if anybody traced it back to the first jump, they appeared to be Americans.”You lefties sure like chomping on nothing burgers.
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said at a press conference Friday that no American was “a knowing participant” in the Russian efforts to influence the 2016 election, as detailed in the DOJ’s Friday indictment of 13 Russian nationals.
A reporter noted that, “On page four of the indictment, paragraph six, it specifically talks about the Trump campaign, saying that defendants communicated with unwitting individuals associated with the Trump campaign.”
“My question is later in the indictment, campaign officials are referenced not by their name, by campaign official one or two or three,” she continued. “Were campaign officials cooperative or were they duped? What was their relationship with this?”
NO COLLUSION -- Rosenstein: No American Was 'A Knowing Participant' In Russian Meddling Indictment
it's really stupid to lie about stuff that's easy to check out, although maybe to devoted wingers it's not lying, they just don't know any better
sad
Rosenstein answered, “There’s no allegation in this indictment that any American had any knowledge..."

call me crazy, but i bet there's more indictments coming
cons- they'll latch onto anything that keeps the fantasy alive
Fine as long as ROSENSTEIN doesn't define himself as "American" because he has precisely ZERO PATRIOTISM to America....
Obama admin. sent taxpayer money to campaign to oust NetanyahuChange "Russian" to "Israeli" and a whole bunch would be guilty...
including Rosenstein, another Zionist Traitor who loaded up on Defense Stocks, gold, and oil in the first half of 2001....

How is going after a criminal (no matter what office he holds) un-American?
We are a nation of laws, not men.
It's over lefties. Zero Americans involved.
Just Hillary accepting hundreds of millions from the Russians for favors.
You lefties sure like chomping on nothing burgers.

House passes Russia sanctions dealRussians interfering in the election being “a hoax” was just another lie. And naturally, Trumpsters fell for it! An example of their consistent gullibility.
The U.S. is no stranger to interfering in the elections of other countries
The U.S. has a long history of attempting to influence presidential ele ctions in other countries – it's done so as many as 81 times between 1946 and 2000, according to a database amassed by political scientist Dov Levin of Carnegie Mellon University.
That number doesn't include military coups and regime change efforts following the election of candidates the U.S. didn't like, notably those in Iran, Guatemala and Chile. Nor does it include general assistance with the electoral process, such as election monitoring.
Levin defines intervention as "a costly act which is designed to determine the election results [in favor of] one of the two sides." These acts, carried out in secret two-thirds of the time, include funding the election campaigns of specific parties, disseminating misinformation or propaganda, training locals of only one side in various campaigning or get-out-the-vote techniques, helping one side design their campaign materials, making public pronouncements or threats in favor of or against a candidate, and providing or withdrawing foreign aid.
In 59% of these cases, the side that received assistance came to power, although Levin estimates the average effect of "partisan electoral interventions" to be only about a 3% increase in vote share.
The U.S. hasn't been the only one trying to interfere in other countries' elections, according to Levin's data. Russia attempted to sway 36 foreign elections from the end of World War II to the turn of the century – meaning that, in total, at least one of the two great powers of the 20th century intervened in about 1 of every 9 competitive, national-level executive elections in that time period.

So, in your tiny mind, it’s OK for Russia to attack our democratic process. Is it because Trump may have benefitted from this interference?
Most intelligent and patriotic Americans, tame Russia’s actions as an attack on America. Poll after poll, shows Republicans, Democrats and Independents support all investigations into Russia’s meddling.
About the only Americans who are against the investigation seem to be some unpatriotic ass-sniffing Trumpsters.
