Dershowitz; Show Me The Statute Trump Violated

Straight from a confessed Hillary voter with more legal credentials than any of the idiots charging Cohen.

Dershowitz just stated there is no statute Trump violated and Cohen was an idiot to agree to plead guilty to a crime of campaign contribution violations.

Trump can donate any amount of money he wants to his own campaign. So giving money from his own personal company doesn't even fall under campaign finance laws. He also stated there's no statute even if he wrote them a personal check.

So, Cohen got roped in to go after Trump.

Dershowitz told us OJ didn’t break any statutes

Hey, snowflake. The premise is Cohen's payment to Stormy exceeded the limits on campaign contributions. That's bullshit even if the payment came out of campaign funds as Trump can donate as much as he wants for his own campaign.

And in reality the money didn't go through the campaign and Trump can pay anyone any amount of money through his private company even for hush money.

Now if you need anymore information about this legal transaction you can look up the John Edwards case where he paid off his mistress and was found innocent of campaign contribution violations. Same as Trump. We already have case law on this.

Wrong again, rightard. That is not the premise. That’s why I asked you who is saying trump exceeded campaign limits with his payment to Stormy; but you couldn’t answer that.

Now try again and see if you can figure out what the actual issue here is.

It not campaign limits - its not reporting the payment.

That is the thing - it would have been perfectly legal to do what he did if he disclosed the payment itself.
