Did California prove they don’t vote on issues that should matter?

I read recently politics have changed from such things as economies and wars to things such as transgender issues & BLM bullshit.

Think we're a dumbed down country? Bet your ass we are, and the Demonicrats are leading it.

No they haven't. Politics is still all about keeping the lights on and giving people the education, infrastructure, opportunities, and a stable government to ensure public safety, and enforce private property rights to enable all citizens to achieve their potential and to build their best lives.

Republicans are busy ignoring the will of the people, and telling you that they will do nothing to protect the citizens, or to keep to the lights on. They're all about fight an imaginary war on Christianity, stripping women of their rights, stripping poor and minority voters of the right to vote, and seeking the right to overturn the results of elections they don't like.

Obviously Newsom didn’t win on his record and or accomplishments, he won because he makes ’people’ feel good about social issues.

And as bill Maher said "300 million was spent on him for the recall election". Im sure several hundred million dollars helped a lot beyond him just making people feel good.

The same thing can be said about Donald Trump. Trump was a bad choice. The GOP should have refused to run a candidate with his record of shady dealings, fiscal incompetence, and abuse of the public purse.

Newsom won because of Republican extremism. Elder was a far right wing fascist. Voters are concerned about the coronavirus and are not buying the Republican line on this. They also oppose Republicans' jihad against Roe vs Wade. California showed why Republican elected officials have said nothing about Texas' anti-abortion law. Even Texas' biggest mouth Ted Cruz has not mentioned it.

California has one of the lowest coronavirus positivity rates per 100,000 people. California had 24,9 positive cases per 100,000. By contrast, Florida's rate is 262.3 per 100,000 people. Newsom is doing better than DeSantis.

Hell no he didn’t….he didn’t have to, he knows Californians are ignorant and twisted as fuck, he knew he could stick to all their emotional social issues (systemic racism, equity, inclusion, baby killing rights, etc etc) and win.

When the American branch of the Taliban aka Christians try to impose their beliefs on Americans through the use of the force of law then this country is in danger. A six week old fetus is not a baby. I guessed Newsom would win because there were no Republican that the party was solidly behind. When I looked last week Larry Elder was the top GOP candidate with only 24%. I didn't believe there was much enticement for the 76% of Elder's non-backers to vote.

Larry Elder got the majority of the Republican votes. It shows how far right Republicans are. The last Republican governor was a moderate. Even Ronald Reagan ran as a moderate when he ran for California Governor.

It matters because of the agenda's in which the left knows that the majority of citizen's will most likely reject, so they have been in attack mode for year's trying to get the right candidate's specifically for their causes, and getting them by any means necessary.

The conservatives have been put into a box that they can't seem to find the sides on, so they end up just sitting on the sidelines hoping to make a comeback somehow.
