Did Democrats Alienate the Black Vote? Black Pastors Discuss 2 Justices Recusal

Do you agree with black pastors that Kagan and Ginsburg should recuse themselves?

  • No, they don't know what they're talking about. There was no bias evident.

  • Yes, they do know what they're talking about. A brain damaged fruit fly couldn't miss the bias.

  • I don't know enough about recusal and the US Supreme Court to know if they should step down.

Children have a constitutional right to a mother and father?

So why do we allow single parents to raise children? Why don't those children have a 'constitutional right to a mother and father'?

What about children being raised by their grandparents? Why don't those children have a 'constitutional right to a mother and father?

1 Respect for Authority Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God.
2 So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished.
3 For the authorities do not strike fear in people who are doing right, but in those who are doing wrong. Would you like to live without fear of the authorities? Do what is right, and they will honor you.
4 The authorities are God’s servants, sent for your good. But if you are doing wrong, of course you should be afraid, for they have the power to punish you. They are God’s servants, sent for the very purpose of punishing those who do what is wrong.
5 So you must submit to them, not only to avoid punishment, but also to keep a clear conscience.
6 Pay your taxes, too, for these same reasons. For government workers need to be paid. They are serving God in what they do.

They have a right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The Prince's Trust study says that boys without a father and girls without a mother grow up unhappy statistically compared to their peers with a mother and father present. Grandparents provide both a (grand)father and (grand)mother figure. The need is fulfilled.

Are you against children having a right to the pursuit of happiness and well being?

Yes- we all have that- but that is not the right to a mother and father.

And back to my question:

So why do we allow single parents to raise children? Why don't those children have a 'constitutional right to a mother and father'?...What about children being raised by their grandparents? Why don't those children have a 'constitutional right to a mother and father?

So you think a Grandfather is the same thing as a father? A grandmother is the same thing as a mother?

Even more silly than your usual.

And of course the study says no such thing- just you lying about the study again.

They have a right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Grandparents are (grand)father and (grand)mother. The mother/father figure pair is still there.

1. So why do we allow single parents to raise children? 2. Why don't those children have a 'constitutional right to a mother and father'?...3. What about children being raised by their grandparents? 4. Why don't those children have a 'constitutional right to a mother and father?

1. Single parents raise children, they just don't get the tax-breaks/rewards of marriage if the don't get married. So their children suffer. Either they can marry themselves or they should get married so that their children no longer suffer. Which would you recommend?

2. They do have a right to a mother and father; which is why states give tax-breaks to encourage single parents to be married. The state sets a standard that encourages the best situation for children. That's all a free-nation state can do. And, if single parents neglect their children, the state steps in. It's as simple as that.

3. As I said before and you purposefully left out my quote that you included in your post, a (grand)father and (grand)mother still provide the necessary father/mother pair for children's best interests.

4. See #3.

Children want parents. And in gays and lesbians, they have them. You are irrelevant to that relationship. You define nothing, set no requirements. You are awkwardly attempting to inject yourself into that relationship to express your personal hatred of gay people. And you're still gloriously irrelevant.

Gays and lesbians will still marry with the legal blessing of our society. They will still have kids. They will still raise families.

And there is nothing you can do about it. Nor should. Your irrelevance is just and right.

1. Single parents raise children, they just don't get the tax-breaks/rewards of marriage if the don't get married. So their children suffer. Either they can marry themselves or they should get married so that their children no longer suffer. Which would you recommend?

But you're not calling for a constitutional amendment to strip parental rights from single parents. Those children don't allow you to hurt gay people. So they're beneath your consideration. The only children you care about, have ever cared about, are those that let you hurt gay people.

Demonstrating elegantly that your hatred for gays vastly outweighs any care or consideration you have for children.

And of course, ripping a child out of a loving family because that family doesn't conform to your narrow view of what a family should be has nothing to do with the welfare of that child. But your personal obsession with gays. You'll gladly traumatize any number of children, destroy any number of families, cause any degree of harm on as large a scale as you're able.....if you can make gay people suffer.

Which is among the many reasons that you're irrelevant to this process. You have no say in any relationship between any child and their parents. Nor should. As your priorities are warped and your perspective skewed.

2. They do have a right to a mother and father; which is why states give tax-breaks to encourage single parents to be married. The state sets a standard that encourages the best situation for children. That's all a free-nation state can do. And, if single parents neglect their children, the state steps in. It's as simple as that.

A child has a right to be cared for. And in gays or lesbian parents they have it. You are only concerned with a mother and a father when the parents are gay. You don't care in the case of single parenting despite the outcomes being far poorer than with a two parent household. Every specific example of a child without a good same sex rolemodel cited in the Prince Trust Study you like to reference.......had a single parent.

Yet you ignore single parenthood, despite it actually being cited in your study.....and focus exclusively and obsessively on gays and lesbians. Despite them NEVER being mentioned once in your study. And focus exclusively on gays and lesbians now.

If children were your priority, single parenthood would be your focus. It is vastly more common and actually detrimental. As you don't give a fiddler's fuck about the welfare of any child, gays and lesbians are your focus. Despite producing good outcomes for children and being comparatively rare.

No thank you. Your irrelevance to the child-parent relationship remains in a child's best interest.

You can bloviate all day long about your pet theories that even though you and your fellow LGBTers had both a mom and dad, you think children would do well without that same enjoyment. But it's not going to budge how blacks feel about the situation. As horrendous as their single parent statistics are, they are not suddenly going to defy a longstanding tradition of Christian values that kept them mentally afloat during all their sufferage and then say "Oh screw you God, we're going to ignore the Bible's teachings on the nuclear family and go ahead and let gays play mom and dad to kids who will know better.

You may have whites scared and shaking in their shoes about lawsuits. But black people I've known over my life are more stubborn and more committed to a cohesive culture that still clings to Christian values at its core; much more tightly than whites do.

So, good luck with your experimental theories you want to try on children. I think you're going to need luck when trying to convince blacks that that is a "good" idea..

You just moved your goal posts. As you claimed your concern was for child welfare. If child welfare were your concern, you'd be all over single parenting. But you could give a fiddler's fuck about single parents, their millions upon millions of children, the poorer outcomes of single parenthood, how common it is....any of it.

Because it doesn't let you hurt gay people.

The only time you give a shit about 'child welfare' is when it lets you hurt gay people. The moment it doesn't, you ignore children and their welfare.

No thank you.

Oh, and that Prince Trust study you like to reference? Every single specific example of children without a good same sex role model had a single parent. It never so much as mentions gays or same sex parenting.

Then why are you rebelling?

No one can come close Thomas' bias. Let't go there first.
The equivalent Thomas would have had to do before this hearing last Spring, to match the hubris and arrogance of a clear display of bias on this question of "gay marriage" would have been him literally picking up a picket sign and walking with traditional marriage people protesting gay marriage, right before he refused to recuse himself from the case.

That's the exact equivalent of Ginsburg & Kagan performing gay marriages before hearing the case, as it was pending before their Court "should gay marriage be legal in all 50 states"...

Then why are you rebelling?

The point is if Syriusly did rebel for any of those "obey your leader" comments from the Bible, she would only be guilty of a venial sin, one that can be remedied or atoned for here or in limbo in the hereafter. Not so with promoting the spread of the gay culture (as opposed to individual gays, helping each of them singularly, "making a difference" to see their illness for what it is ).. If you support a "homosexual wedding/fatherless/motherlesss" you will go to the pit of fire forever.

This black Christian judge knows that because he's read that and refuses to damn his soul for eternity. Without mitigation. So he exercises his 1st Amendment civil rights and the 9th Amendment says that he can. He's very clever to do this (and may win eternal reward in the hereafter for its larger effects) as a black man. Because none of the Rainbow-PC-Nazis will dare try to say he doesn't have a certain civil right as a black guy... :lmao: Good for you judge!

If spending a few minutes performing a marriage constiutes a bias that mandates recusal....than participating in a marriage for 40 years would create a bias orders of magnitude more severe.

If your own standards were applied consistently, everyone but Kagan would have to be recused. Back in reality, none of them do. As neither performing a marriage nor participating in one demonstrates a 'bias'.

You simply don't know what you're talking about.
