Did Obama demean the Presidency on "Between 2 Ferns"?

Did it demean the office no did it really accomplish anything also no you can cite the visit to the Obamacare website all you want visiting the site does not mean you signed up for anything and the administration is not going to hit either it's original goal of 7 million or even it's down sized 5 million enrolled by the end of the month.

Obama already made a joke out of the presidency.... What difference does it make

Sent from my Chinese Supercomputer made from XBox parts Bush sent to China

After eight years of the ill-spoken, cross-eyed doof, George Dumbya Bush, and his blood-soaked wars of choice, conservatives whine about some brief but funny interview with Obama.

No wonder American voters have voted against returning the GOP to the White House twice in a row.

Here's the deal with the media. They made a movie ridiculing Nixon while he was in office and a couple more just in time for democrat party conventions through the years. Showtime and HBO shows them for about a week when Obama gets in trouble. They made a movie showing the assassination of President Bush while he was in office and another movie critical of the administration just in time for the democrat party convention. They even made a movie about Sarah Palin. Everything Hollywood needed in a movie, sex, drugs and rock and roll they had during the Clinton years but nobody is interested in a movie about a sexual predator president. Hussein Obama made several big offensive comments in his stand-up comedy routines such as ridiculing "special olympic" kids but the media never called him on it and now any criticism about the president is condemned as racist.

He demeaned it the day he claimed that the day he was elected was the day the world would remember as the day the seas "stopped rising".

And when he made his infamous lies to the voters who would have never wanted the ACA if they had known the truth, nor would the SCOTUS voted it into law. Shame on all. Talk about denigrating the once highest offices in the land

A lot of conservatives are screaming that Obama demeaned the office of the Presidency when he was interviewed by Zach Gallifinakas on his web broadcast "Between 2 Ferns".

A lot of them said that it's beneath the office of the President, and Obama has diminished his office by doing so, because there are no other Presidents who would have considered doing so.

Got news for you.........Ike appeared on the Colgate Comedy Hour, Nixon appeared on Laugh In, and Jr. appeared on a game show.

They did it to get better exposure with more of the country and get out their message. Obama did it because he thought that it would be a good idea, especially considering that a lot of young people watch that webcast, and he wanted to get the word out to younger people as to what the ACA is all about.

Guess what? It worked. Obamacare referrals from the show were in the hundreds of thousands, and the traffic on the ACA website was up 40 percent the following day after the webcast.

Nope.................sorry...............it didn't demean the office, and it actually worked for the reasons it was done.

Just more proof that the conservatives are looking for any reason to bitch about Obama.

Truthfully, the moment he uttered the very first lie he ever told as President was the moment he demeaned the Presidency. Any President who lies while in office, has demeaned the Presidency.

Of course he didn't demean the office of the presidency. obama is an embarrassment to begin with. He is so low with an office already below all possible expectations. He could not demean the office any more than he demeans it just by being there. obama has made history. He is the only president to ever be less popular than the adversaries of the country. To be clear, a majority of Americans think more of Putin than they do of obama. There is no lower than that.

Quick question.......................how do you feel about Bush Jr. lying about Iraq?

This is just another "team game" thread.

Giving you the opportunity to slag off the other side, no point to it, it's not politics at all, but hey.

So.................nothing more than bullshit and rhetoric.

Good to know.

But then again, I never expected more from the tea baggers. Sorry, but extremism is a bad thing, no matter what your dogma.

Reagan was a b-list actor who appeared with a chimp.

People didn't find that demeaning.
Obama made it clear he was better than all previous Presidents and was going to change the ways things were done political. So I guess that means he can sell out more than any President before him.

It was typical of Obama being Un-Presidential which is really unremarkable

Obama is such a failure I launched him and a boatswains mate to sea duty earlier. :D

Wow, I'm not just talking about tea party supporters, I'm talking Republicans and Democrats too. They play the silly game, the insults, the waste of time, and it's killing the US.

Time for PR.

Wait, the money won't allow it.
