Had that not happened, the production would have kept rising and would have been far higher that the top peak in early 2020. Note also how Biden's production shows numerous drops in productions, and all of it is kept well below the levels Trump had, up until the pandemic shutdowns.

Just in case anybody is wondering (and they sure OUGHT to be) how much Biden is depleting our STRATEGIC oil reserves, they were at 700 Million gallons when Biden took office. They are now (September 30) at about 450 Million and on a sharply (and frighteningly) descending line, as shown on the graph in Post # 258 (4:00 on the time bar).

Extending this line to the complete DEPLETION of the oil reserves, it appears that would be taking this to the latter part of 2024. WOW. What a talking point for Donald Trump in the 2024 election, even if Biden were to somehow come up with some magical way of replenishing the reserves, it still points out the recklessness of a nutty guy who has no qualification to be a US president whatsoever.
