You don't understand what freedom of speech means. It basically means you cannot be arrested for what you say. It doesn't mean there are no consequences for what you say.
Everything you say has consequences. They can be positive or negative. Negative consequences can be outrage, boycotts, public ridicule.......that doesn't mean your freedom of speech is being violated

It wasn't personal bankruptcy. Palin was facing state banruptcy. The many lawsuits filed for frivolous reasons (every one was eventually thrown out) meant that the state staff was tied up in complying with discovery requests and could not attend to state business.

The left justifies the language used against conservative women by simiply claiming they deserve it, but liberal women do not. The left justifies being so deserving by a string of endless lies that they claim to this very day are true. Sarah Palin never belonged to the Alaska Independence Party, her husband attended one meeting and never joined. Libs can't be shaken from that belief. She never said she could see Russia from her house, she never wanted to censor the library and never expressed that she had no idea that Africa was a continent. These are all lies, but more than that, they are all punchlines to jokes told by liberal comedians. Every one of them.
