Disinformation is enemy #1.

In your world someone saying something that is less than 100% Cult approved makes them a nutjob.
But you aren't in that Cult- sure.
What makes Taibbi a nutjob is his nutty positions on some issues. Try not to broad brush everything so much. He wrote some outlandish stuff about the Twitter files that got thrown back in his face due to factual inaccuracies.

It is a national security and health issue. Look at what has happened since the start of the pandemic and then the election. How many idiot republicans died because they listened to lies about covid? How many people have been sent to jail or lost their jobs and lives over election lies? Foxnews had to pay out almost a billion dollars in pocket change because of it lol.
Unaccountable and unelected bureaucrats should not have the power to decide what is acceptable to the Party and silence what is not, bottom line. Example, we accept the deaths of tens of thousands every year just because we want to drive fast.

Freedom is messy, dangerous, chaotic and requires maturity. It's also preferable to the alternative. Give the government power to silence, and soon you will be silenced.

Disinformation is big business in today's politics. These so-called political pundits from both sides serve up an ounce of truth surrounded by a pound of bull crap.
FALSE EQUIVALENCE ALERT!

Berg is sick.
His Cult has warped his mind and destroyed whatever ability he might have had to critically think.

It must be awful to be so obsessed.
Disinformation poses an unprecedented threat to democracy in the United States in 2024, according to researchers, technologists and political scientists.

As the presidential election approaches, experts warn that a convergence of events at home and abroad, on traditional and social media — and amid an environment of rising authoritarianism, deep distrust, and political and social unrest — makes the dangers from propaganda, falsehoods and conspiracy theories more dire than ever.

The U.S. presidential election comes during a historic year, with billions of people voting in other elections in more than 50 countries, including in Europe, India, Mexico and South Africa. And it comes at a time of ideal circumstances for disinformation and the people who spread it.

An increasing number of voters have proven susceptible to disinformation from former President Donald Trump and his allies; artificial intelligence technology is ubiquitous; social media companies have slashed efforts to rein in misinformation on their platforms; and attacks on the work and reputation of academics tracking disinformation have chilled research.

That's you, nitwit.

You have been disinformed, nitwit.

The various claims of evidence alleging a stolen 2020 election have been exhaustively investigated and litigated. Judges heard claims of illegal voting and found they were without merit.

Rep. Liz Cheney, the former chair of the House Republican Conference, stated on February 23: "The president and many around him pushed this idea that the election had been stolen. And that is a dangerous claim. It wasn't true," she said. "There were over 60 court cases where judges, including judges appointed by President Trump and other Republican presidents, looked at the evidence in many cases and said there is not widespread fraud."

CLC’s researched the cases. Some, as referenced by Rep. Cheney, were withdrawn by the Trump team before the courts ever ruled or dismissed on procedural grounds. But many were decided on the merits.

Post-Election Cases Decided on the Merits:

  • Trump v. Biden (Wis. Dec. 14, 2020) – In a 4-3 decision, the Wisconsin Supreme Court dismissed three of Trump’s four claims under the doctrine of laches. However, it decided on the merits Trump’s claim that voters wrongfully declared themselves indefinitely confined. Ultimately, the court ruled against Trump on this claim because Trump challenged the status of all voters who claimed an indefinitely confined status, rather than individual voters. Trump petitioned to the U.S. Supreme Court for writ of certiorari on Dec. 29, 2020 with a motion for expedited consideration, but the court denied his motion to expedite on January 11.

Judge finalizes $25 million settlement for 'victims of Donald Trump's fraudulent university'

Trump University attendees are getting paid back.

A federal judge in the Southern District of California on Monday finalized a $25 million settlement to be paid to attendees of the now-defunct real estate seminar called Trump University.

Judge Gonzalo Curiel's decision came after an appeals court rejected arguments from a Florida woman who attended Trump University and said she wanted to pursue a separate lawsuit.

New York Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman called the settlement a victory for Trump U. "victims."

"Judge Curiel's order finalizing the $25 million Trump University settlement means that victims of Donald Trump's fraudulent university will finally receive the relief they deserve," he said in a statement, adding that the amount surpassed the initial number the class-action suit initially negotiated.

Your Dear Leader committed fraud.
