The state just lost out on a billion dollars worth of construction and more than 2000 jobs of people making more than 100 grand each that would be spending that money in Florida.

You people whined for years about AOC costing NY the Amazon jobs, but since it is a Repub doing it you get down on your knees and blow him.

Disney now gets to stay in Cali and keep paying the shitshow taxes there.

Disney has abandoned plans to open up a new employee campus in Lake Nona, Florida, amid rising tensions with the state's governor.
Citing "changing business conditions" and the return of CEO Bob Iger, Josh D'Amaro, chairman of Disney's parks, experiences and products division, penned a memo to employees Thursday, announcing that the company will not move forward with construction of the campus and will no longer be asking more than 2,000 California-based employees to relocate to Florida.

Nice of them to use DeSantis as an excuse for cancelling something their employees probably didn't want anyway.

Disney is closing down a high end motel in September

If I worked for Disney in California, I would be happy to not be picked to move to Florida.

I think that the next Gov will not have a personal grudge with Disney and will not actively target them.

DeSantis himself said he is doing this because Disney dared to stand up to him.

In my opinion the best thing to come out of this is that DeSantis has gotten all of you to throw off the façade of being either small government folks or conservatives. That ship has now sailed and you all can come out of the closet and be your true selves.
