Do Democrats have a strategy other than be annoying for the next four years?

My american flag is on my basement floor...I may fly it again soon if Donnie trump can git it going.

A Democratic Congressman has announced that he will not recognize Trump as a "legitimate President."

Democratic Rep. Lewis: Trump not a 'legitimate president'

How the hell does saying this help the Democratic Party?

Were they not the ones berating Trump when he said he might not recognize the result of the election if he lost?

They said his statements were a threat to democracy?

And yet, they are doing the same exact same thing that they berated Trump for doing.

I guess it's an example of "do what I say, not what I do."

Democrats need to understand that the far-left policies of the Obama administration, and the total corrupution of Hillary Clinton, combined in a perfect storm to deprive them of more than 1000 seats of power at the federal and state level.

If they are going to have any hope of gaining power back, they must moderate their positions and clean up the dishonesty and corruption that pervades their ranks.

And they can start from abstaining from any further efforts to delegitimize this election.

The American people have spoken, and the Democrats need to start listening.

Well, the Republicans acted annoying for 8 years....

Then it must have worked. We have the Congress, the Senate, the majority of Governorships across the country not to mention hundreds of local positions we took from the Democrats, and now the White House.

Yeah, so if Democrats basically spend the next 4 or 8 years just being annoying, then maybe the people will decide that this is what they want.

Doesn't really matter though, does it, Democrats in power, Republicans in power, not much difference, the will of the people is still lost.

That remains to be seen. I think this time will be much different. For us Republican voters, we will finally get these representatives to start doing things WE want them to do instead of playing politics with it all. Getting rid of Commie Care is a great start, and I hope just the tip of the fuse.

1 week remaining for snowflakes to move to Canada.

I hear Canada is gorgeous on January. Don't forget your heavy coats.

The rest of us will continue to get poorer...I stake everything I have on it.
OK, send me your money, and I will take you up on that bet. I will PM you my Paypal account so you can do a transfer of cash. How much will you be sending?

Yeah, sure, bang your head against the wall and hope for gold. It didn't happen the last 30 times, but this time it'll be different, right?

But the magic word is HOPE. Yeah, he gave you some hope. Okay, he'll do what everyone else has done, and not give you the substance, but you want to believe.

America is for the wealthy....the false narrative is that hard work will help you become wealthy....hard work will barely get you ahead.
Under Obama, this was true. Only investors prospered, the rest of us suffered.

Just to continue to fail for all to see....

Democrats did not accept the legitimacy of GW Bush. Democrats will never accept a Republican president as legitimate. Republicans won't accept a Democrat president as legitimate.

It's part of the division in the country. It is one of the reasons why our future is a break up.

Tipsy you got it. The country is forever divided. That helps the country survive. If we werwere all flag waving freaks and always stood behind the country, it could not survive.

The Federalists broke up, the Whigs fell apart, and maybe the Democratic Party has had its day and needs to go extinct as well. The old, FDR coalition is gone now, even poor white workers are voting Republican now, which is very surprising to a person of my age, who remembers when the Republican Party were scorned by the working class as the "country club set."

But the Democrats abandoned the working class to form a new coalition of wealthy urban elites, minorities on welfare, gays, and everyone who hates the United States and what it stands for. To appeal to these people, the Democrats turned against God, the American flag, gun rights, the police, the military, and everything the middle-class and working people believe in. This was a process that forced many Democrats out of the party, to become independents, or to join the Republican Party.

The most dramatic move was the South, which was solidly Democrat and then, within a generation, became solidly Republican. Democrats made no effort to stop this bleeding of voters away from them, because they thought they could win by alienating themselves from values voters, Christians, and everyone who was normal.

Now, the Democrats are losing Catholics too, formerly a solid Democratic block, for the first time has gone for a Republican candidate with Trump.

Blog: Trump won the Catholic vote

The Democrats made no effort to meet Catholics even half-way, with Clinton taking extremist views on abortion, and Obama picking unnecessary fights with the Catholic Church by mandating birth control coverage in Obamacare. It was like the Democrats telling Catholics, "We don't want your vote" which is odd, since 25% of voters are Catholic.

As a Catholic who has been frustrated for decades by my fellow Catholics' support of the Democratic Party, this is an amazing acheivement of Democrats to drive us out, on purpose. Why? To appeal to people who hate Christianity, hate God, and hate the Catholic Church. But that is not enough people to overcome all the Catholics votes you lost. I can't imagine who came up with this losing strategy.
