Do they also agree that poverty and criminality are two major problems within our country?
Why aren’t politicians exhausting all effort in improving K-12 education?

How would that help the low IQ people? They need simple jobs. They are not college material. We need job training programs so that they can be skilled labor instead of unskilled labor. More manufacturing jobs would help too.

Not everyone is cut out for school, low iq or otherwise

If low IQ = criminality and poverty, downs folks would be some of the most dangerous people alive.

So no, I don't agree with that premise.

I’m confused...are you asking how a better K-12 education would help low iQ people?

Because a quality education requires an investment in teachers, textbooks and infrastructure, and additional supports for poor children. It was difficult enough to get Republicans to approve the CHiP program. Conservatives are busy dismantling the public education system in favour of Charter Schools, and in every jurisdiction where public schools are closed in favour of charter schools, the poorest children disappear from the education system completely, because their parents can't afford the tuition gap between the voucher and the tuition charges.

Hundreds of thousands of the poorest kids in the land are disappearing from the public school system and no one is following up.

Public school systems should be administered by their municipality, not the Feds.

Could our public education be better if we didn’t have 29 million illegal cockroaches over flooding our classrooms?
This is a yes or no question?

So no, I don't agree with that premise.

The GOP attempts to make out less intelligent folk as Democrat & liberal, all while we know that in reality the folks from the so called majority 'red states' are less educated & less intelligent; most are from GOP families.

The ones that don't break the laws are poorer; the ones from GOP families are the criminals because they just run more scams & have more money.

That's an interesting claim seeing as how the overwhelming majority of crime happens in decidedly BLUE areas.

But yeah, you run with that... :290968001256257790-final:

Let me take you school real quick Kiddo...
The LibTard capital of the world..Mexifornia is home to 12% of the nations population and 33% of the nations welfare recipients.
Why is liberal California the poverty capital of America?
21.3% of US Participates in Government Assistance Programs Each Month
Who Participated in Welfare?
The black population at 41.6 percent, blacks were more likely to participate in government assistance programs in an average month.
The black participation rate was followed by Hispanics at 36.4 percent,Asians or Pacific Islanders at 17.8 percent, and non-Hispanic whites at 13.2 percent

California - 12% of the nations population, 33% of the nations welfare recipients.
Note that Hawaii and New York are fighting CA for that number one spot....also note all three are blue states. Here you go:
It Looks Like Red States Take Most in Federal 'Welfare' from this Map. But Looks Can Be Deceiving.
California’s Welfare Benefits: Boom or Bust?
"There has been much discussion about immigrants in the United States from everywhere around the world. Yet, why is it that California seems to attract the most immigrants of any state? Indeed, while the state is only 12% of the nation’s population, it is home to 33% of welfare residents. According to a report published by the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) on January 26, 2015, there is a correlation between generous welfare benefits and an increase in immigration.

In total, California outspends every other state in public welfare spending – in 2014, it spent $22.4 billion. In contrast, the next closest state, New York, spent $11.9 billion. That being said, does this make California a magnet for immigrants? Not necessarily. It is more of an anchor – a reason why residents stay for long periods of time in the state. However, to deny that there is no magnet would be incorrect. According to George J. Borjas, the Robert W. Scrivner Professor of Economics and Social Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School and the author of the aforementioned report, the reason as to why people decide to relocate is due to “income-maximizing behavior.” Immigrants have already accepted that there are certain fixed costs that are inevitable because of migration, so it is natural that they will flock towards the places with the highest benefits. Empirical evidence suggests that it is because of these differences that there are an increasingly disproportionate number of immigrants among states. While there is the possibility of alternative explanations for this phenomenon, the conclusion that Borjas draws using the wealth-maximization hypothesis is one such testable method.
However, upon closer examination, on a per-capita basis, California’s seemingly generous benefits pale in data comparison to other states. For example, it spends approximately $179 for every resident, behind $233 in Hawaii and $256 in New York. Furthermore, approximately 8.9% of California residents live in poverty, the highest of any state.

What else can I teach you?

Unfortunately, with what the current scientific literature is saying about IQ, is that there isn’t anything we can do in k-12 (or anywhere else), to improve IQ. But to say low IQ leads to poverty is arguable, and to say it leads to criminality isn’t true at all.

As far as poverty, lower IQ will trend that way for sure, but a lot of variables go into that. You could be a highly intelligent genius and easily be a criminal, and conversly be a dunce and have a heart of gold.

The lit on increasing IQ is very bleak, basically we can’t do anything to increase it.
