Do you exercise or work out?

I walked twice round the block today.

Tomorrow I plan to start running round the block.

Next week I shall increase it to six times round the block.

We worked out with blocks in basketball, but they wrapped a towel around them and we had to push them the length of the bball court about a million times. Man I hated blocks!

I was Basic in January 2002 in the 320th ... Alcatrez. I'd love to go thru their PT program for six weeks minus the hospital corners, 8 milliseconds to eat every meal, and all that damn marching, again.

The arm circles part of the PT program when I was with the 43CS at Pope. We were hard core.
oh ok I thought you were talking about basic. My unit's PT program at Vandenberg was a joke. Same with Malmstrom.

But then, we weren't exactly expected to be warriors in the Chair Force

Were you ever at Keesler? I have never been to Vandenberg AFB but I remember The Vandenberg which was this little pool hall-ish hangout for the pipeliners that served booze in the "The Triangle."

I still remember wanting to kiss the bartender that served me my first beer in nearly three months once I hit second phase and was allowed to wear civies and drink beer again.

No my tech was at the Lackland Annex for a couple weeks and then Vandenberg AFB.

We would need to start a whole new thread if we're going to talk about good tech school stories

You got that right ... my tech school was nine months long on a base that also trained IM troops which is a six week school and primarily a female AFSC ... basically, the base was littered with sexually frustrated chics just getting out of basic with only six weeks to get in much fun as possible until they moved on to their permanent duty stations ... I never have before and never will again get that much ass in a nine month period as I did during the bulk of 2002 :(

Yeah I heard about all the fun, while I instead spent my time in the exact OPPOSITE situation in a mostly male-dominated AFSC tech school. Not only that, but we were in the middle of nowhere in Cali and if you didn't have a car or sucked someone's balls who did, your ass was jackin off and playing video games all day

I heard it was so bad at Keesler that they had an STD lockdown. That's not supposed to sound GOOD, but when your ass ain't gettin laid, that sounds soooooooo sweet

That sucks, dude.

Life was good at Keesler. No need for a car either ... I was on T-shift so Fridays when class got out our crew would walk to the Project Lounge which was just off base and drink til' the sun came up, walking back on to base just in time to watch all the people phasing up do their qualifying run.

Plus we had no less than three casinos which were either a 20 minute walk or $5 cab ride away.

Good.Freakin'.Times.

And don't be silly, wrap your Willie.

Now don't take salt pills and have a good day!

Don't get me wrong, there were girls there. Not all that many, but pretty much none of them were very good looking. It was so funny watching guys lower their standards to a level they probably never before did in their lives just to get their dick wet.

That was just the tech unit though. There were a lot of permanent party chicks on that base that were smokin hot, but that was LOR material if you got caught with permanent party chicks. And dudes were fucking HATERS about that shit, too. I watched some of my buddies get paperwork because some nerd ass rope was pissed that he was still a virgin and couldn't keep his mouth shut.

Wow...

The memories.

I'd do it all over again if I didn't have to go to basic.

lol ... I've seen a lot of that too.

My AFSC pretty much had no hot chics either. I remember my first day at Keesler before learning that there was pussy galore there and looking around the room at the "girls" who were in my school and thinking, "well, I suppose I can look past the mustache if I'm drunk enough."

Fucking ropes.

lol ...

Me too .. though I wouldn't mind getting whipped back into shape again at basic.

Go to the gym, bro. And join a softball league. That's what I do.

My body ain't cooperating with me at 30 the way it did when I was 20, I have to actually try really hard now.

Friggin aches and pains and shit. It's ridiculous. I'm actually in pretty good shape and I'm still a hurtin unit after softball. I don't get it.

I've actually been running and doing laps for about a month now and getting my wind back. I'm not terribly out of shape by any stretch.

Of course, I have also pulled two muscles in my back in during that span ... one while diving and the other throw a freaking rock of all things.

Shit like that never happened to me pre-30 either.

haha. I messed my back up for a day coming up from that bent over position when you're spitting into the sink after brushing your teeth.

I guess I just came up to quick or had the angle wrong or something.

Just wait till one day you reach down to tie your shoe and the back goes out.

Sorry about the mini-threadjack, Eeez ... we are talking about exercise again.

I'm guessing that will happen the day after I turn 40.

4x a week!
Mon: Chest and Arms
Tues: Legs
Wed: Back and Shoulders
Thur: Chest and Arms

I don't as much cardio as I should, but I hit the weights and eat right that is key!

That's when I discovered I had disc degeneration in my low, middle and upper back. All my doc said was "hey, you're getting old". I told him where he could stuff the old wisecracks.
