The numbers do not lie, What Trump failed to do is to win over any of the "blue" states.....
Keep your eye on two relatively small EC states: NH and NV. that will give Hillary an easy 272 total votes.

McCarthy didn't even head a committee, he was a minority senator in a democrat controlled congress. Harry Truman's administration started the crusade against communism but the Truman congress had no power to "blacklist" anyone. Hollywood was worried about losing money so they blacklisted their own. Ironically republican and conservative actors are more at risk today for being blacklisted than the whiny commies were during Truman's day.
