Don't Fall For This Being A Negotiation Where Both Sides Need To Give Something

We're not falling for this being a "negotiation" where the democrats give anything at all....In the world of Daily Kooks, "negotiation" is where republicans cave and democrats get nearly everything they want.
When you are negotiating with a hostage taker the only option you offer them is to give up.

Yup, explain that one to Obama...dumbass.

Trump is slowly winning. When he asked Nancy today if he opened the govt tomorrow would he get money for his wall in a package 30 days from now, she said no. Well we all know now she never has any plans to negotiate. The Dems are slowly being uncovered for the obstructionists that they are.

I think many have fallen for the narrative that there is some sort of policy disagreement going on here between two sides who both want something and that a compromise from both sides is needed.

That isn’t what is happening. This isn’t a disagreement that needs a compromise, it is a hostage situation.

Indeed! Leftists are holding America and American security hostage for more votes from illegals. Glad you agree.

Trump must stand firm on this. Otherwise Ann Coulter will make fun of him again.
It was a lie that Coulter or Rush caused Trump to pull his offer off the table...that offer was only good before the shut down....when Pelosi said no money for the wall that offer went out of the room with Pence....then the dishonest media placed the blame on a talk show host....and this buffoon swallowed it....
that offer was only good before the shut down...

:eusa_doh:

It was Trump's refusal of that offer that caused the shutdown, fool.

The patriotic part of Congress should never negotiate with tyrants and terrorist when it comes to the tyrant attempting to extort money from the taxpayer and Congress. This in order to fulfill the tyrant's lust at being a dictator wannabe. The best thing to do is get rid of the 45 tyrant and his mob of antigovernment conspiring GOPer cronies, in order to end this war they have going on against civilization.

Sorry but you have it backwards...Pence was at the last ditch meeting to get a deal before the shut down...the dems played games and only sent staff and they said no to everything...so that deal was pulled and the shutdown began the very next day.....turn off CNN fool...or should I call you a tool?.....

No, fool.
Both houses of congress passed a clean CR per their agreement with the the WH.

It was at that time that Coulter and/ or Limbaugh allegedly influenced him and he reneged.

That is what shut down the govt, dope.

Damn, Dude. It was literally just two weeks ago.

What timeline?

Try this.

Dec 19:

Congress is preparing to kick the fight over Trump's border wall down the road and narrowly avoid a shutdown mess

Dec 20:

Trump is abruptly threatening to veto the spending bill and force a government shutdown over the border wall

The bills passed by the senate and the house was over two weeks ago....you don't know what you are talking about...the Pence Meeting was the last meeting to avoid the shut down...Trump made an offer that included less money and changed from a solid concrete wall to steel fencing...the dems sent their staff...Pelosi and Schumer did not attend...then Trump pulled that deal when the shutdown began....look it up Tool....

it is a hostage situation, because trying to get a deal on border security and keeping the government open and working are separate issues, unless one is wanting to get attanetion and...

Dems could make all this go away by not obstructing.
Trump should make it all go away by not holding the government hostage and dealing with border security in a legislative way.

but he promised. it's all about a campaign promise . He cannot do the right thing - like GHW Bush did when presented with evidence -- he raised taxes .. sacrificed his own prospects for the good of the nation

Huh?

This is like day 19 of the shutdown.

I just gave you links, dope.
Post up whatever the hell you are talking about.

After trump reneged, the House passed a bill that included funding. The senate did not vote on it. The govt was shutdown at that point.
