Early family formation is the human norm; why have we made it so exceptional?

None more important than creating offspring. Without them, you do not exist

There are plenty of people creating offspring, if a small percent choose not to we will be fine.

My opinion is that if someone does not want children, then having them would be the worst thing they can do as their children would suffer

We do not disagree except that those that do have children are far more important than those that do not.

And, I know a huge number of people who thought they never wanted children until they had them. They now say it was the best thing they ever did.

Not everyone CAN have children, but devoting one's life to irresponsibility and self-gratification is childish and NOT how a real man comports himself. Those who post here 'boasting' about never getting married and/or having children out of choice are NOT men.

OMG this is one of the funniest things you've ever written. Please tell me more about what a real man is.

:lmao:

I just cannot agree with this at all. Perhaps I am biased since it is my children that have no children.

My daughter is 28 making a base salary of more than 200 grand a year plus bonuses. She is a raising superstar at her company to the point she is used as an example in recruiting of what you can accomplish with the company if you work hard at it.

At the start of the year they created a new position just for her and now she found out last Friday she is leaving in early June for a 3 week trip to Dubai, Greece and Spain to help expand her company into the international market. If she had a baby at home none of this would be possible for her.

Yet I am supposed to agree that one of her classmates from high school that is on their 2nd child and working at the local pizza pub is far more important than my daughter?

Yeah, that is not happening.

I fully disagree with the article. Get educated, work into you mid to late 30s then have kids. At that point one has been able to secure finances and can properly afford kids. Also there'd be a lot less abortions as well. No downsides.
Yes, there is a major downside. Population replenishment suffers with fewer children.

Yeah, that is not happening.

Do you consider money more important than life? Sounds like someone....

A real man is what Unkotare says it is, he is the only one qualified to make the determination, just ask him.

Using the name of Japanese porn for your username makes one qualified for such things
