Suck on it, libturds. The voters still don't want perverts to be allowed access to the restrooms and locker rooms their wives and daughters use.

Opponents of the issue branded it "the bathroom ordinance," playing up the argument that it would allow men dressed as women to use women's restrooms. A television ad featured a little girl being cornered by a man in a restroom.

Weirdo :cuckoo:

Obama supports it.......so now I think he should let boys shower with his daughters any time they want to.

There'll be a federal judge ordering them to allow them access. Wait and see. There is no States' Rights in America and the will of the people and their majority vote can be overturned by federal judges.

Meh. LGBT people will just move to Austin. Much friendlier.

Great place for'em.

Friendliness is only one of Austin's attributes. Beautiful city: things to do in austin - Google Search

You want who to suck what, now? Interesting turn of phrase, given the topic.

I go over there two or three times a year, usually spend the weekend. There are some great places to go on lake Travis, the water has been really low the last couple of years, down more than 100 ft, should be great next year though.

Downtown is one of the most inhospitable places I've ever been, maybe the worse next to DC. No parking, if you can find it, it's really expensive.

HERO failing in early voting election results

"Early voting results show Houston's equal rights ordinance failing by a wide margin, with 62.5 percent of voters opting to repeal the law and 37.5 percent supporting the embattled ordinance."

Lol, couldnt happen to a more deserving band of Marxists and shit-bags.

Looks like those number pretty well held, with 98.5% counted the ordnance was defeated 61+% to 38+%. GOOD JOB HOUSTON!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT: This was a very appropriate send off to the term limited lesbo mayor Porker, this was to be her signature achievement.

Typical fear-mongering, and hardly a shock there where such a thing was always a push, especially in an off-year election.

Why do some new sites black out their pages like this? They understand don't they that if they prevent people reading their site, we just go find one that isn't blacked out right? USA Today does it too.

You are sleep walking. That's not how it works with today's homosexuals. They are militant and they will pile on wherever they can't get their way, over and over until they do. They will work diligently to make people feel like they are Nazi cavemen for having the audacity to respect gender.

good grief, bathrooms and locker rooms are now considered Equal rights?

this is insane. Remember when they were fighting over getting more toilets for a women's bathrooms because they take longer then a man.

this country is screwed up or these people like this mayor and Obama is. thank goodness the people are coming to their senses. they've pushed things TOO FAR this time.

From the OP linked article:
"This was a campaign of fear-mongering and deliberate lies," Houston Mayor Annise Parker said. "No one's rights should be subject to a popular vote."

Since when are mental behaviors "rights"?

The issue is LGBT activists are transitioning for seeking tolerance to forcing acceptance.

A lot of people who were willing to live and let live will not be so willing to be told who to associate with, how to act, and if either of those things are done wrong, be punished by the government.

Always expect the worst with any liberal policy....regardless what they claim....because their intent is almost always something ridiculous, expensive, or just plain idiotic.
