I have never predicted who would win this election because it is not like any election in history. The country has never had an incumbent president like Donald Trump and has never had an epidemic as a major issue. Trump is the first impeached president to run for the office and Biden if elected will be oldest president to take office.

I predict that whoever wins will not have a mandate of people. The House will remain democrat but not much and Senate will remain, Republican but not by much. And the country will remain deeply divided. Trump is not a united but a divider. We will be lucky if a civil war doesn't develop. Although Biden is far less impulsive and caustic than Trump, I don't think he has the strength or backing to do what needs to be done.

I thought Trump would lose, and lose convincingly, and I was scared to death the GOP would lose the Senate.
The result so far leaves me much more optimistic. In fact I believe if Trump can do this well despite having the entire MSM fighting him every step of the way, and Dimocrats blaming him for every ill the world has ever seen, it gives us hope that the country isn't completely lost.

Because of the high population states of New York and California, the GOP will never win another popular vote, which is why they want to do away with the Electoral College.
