The long-time central bank chief repeated his warnings about the weight that Social Security, Medicare and other programs are having on what have been otherwise solid gains over the past few years.

I am sorry to report but entitlements are not something a person pays for in advance to have later..

Actually that's exactly what it means......because you are ENTITLED to something you've worked & paid for. It's yours because you paid for it.


It's those 'other programs'.....like Welfare, Medicaid, and whatever else,, that is given from someone else's pocket....and should NOT be called 'entitlements'
