Without some actual examples of what is included in the curriculum, I'm not going to comment upon this particular case.

With that said, I have seen examples in other cases where the curriculum clearly bashed America, America's founders, and ideas this country was founded on.

I don't believe in whitewashing our history, it is what it is. But there is clearly a way to teach American History, warts and all, without denigrating the country or the people.

I do draw the line when schools have students dress up and pretend to be something they are not or to practice religious rites which are not their religion. That should, IMHO, never be done. Basically, if you would not require a Muslem to dress and practice Catholic rites, don't require a Catholic to dress and practice Muslem rites. If you wouldn't require a Black child to dress and act as tho they were White, don't require a White child to dress and act as tho they were Black.
