When such laws, in effect, drive elderly voters to stand in the hot sun for hours in order to vote and then prohibit others from bringing them a chair to sit on and cool water to drink while they are waiting, that is not only Outrageous and Despicable, it is downright Cold and Heartless. But Conservatives have pushed for such laws to be enacted that only serve to disenfranchise and keep minorities from voting. And then look at all the gerrymandering also taking place in America to give advantage to one group over another. African-American voters and Latinos, Remember That and how they're treating you. Those voters and many others WILL, however, remember when they go to the polls next to vote! Be assured of that.

OK you've reached a new low in stupidity. Not everyone stands for hours in the hot sun. Especially in November.

Bring the chairs and cold water anyway, then tape the outcome and post it.
That's actually a great idea, Jake! All should be carefully filmed to see those same people go out and try to take the chairs and water away from the elderly and the finished film could then be called "Discrimination In the Making!" It should then be distributed nationwide on all available video channels and other media.

The only maltreatment is you abusing the members of this board with your gross stupidity.

It's always been illegal to give things to people who are waiting in line to vote. IF it was allowed, then candidates would be handing out everything under the sun to voters in an attempt to influence them. Furthermore, elections are in November. It just isn't that hot in November, not even here in Florida.

This is just another idiotic attempt to allow Dims to corrupt the election process.

yeah I'm going to be schooled by someone called, politicalTORCH

should be named politicalTRASH

JUST dumps the board with it

I love my state. I've seldomly stood ina line. Typically, it's just walk right in and i've got a ballot in hand in less time then it takes to boil water.

Allright Rabbi, you can stop looking at yourself in the mirror while you say that. You know what you've just said fully applies to you.

It seems to me that the only thing Republicans want to require is an photo ID and now that obamacare, welfare, social security and food stamps all require a photo ID it shouldn't be a problem to whip it out to vote. I guess it would be a problem if you were an illegal alien or trying to vote more than once but that seems to be who the democrats are trying to get to vote. From the President down democrat just can't seem to follow the rules.

Because we all know voter fraud is a Republican fable, except for when a Democrat discovers it.

The Hennepin County attorney’s office is investigating whether a private mailbox center in Minneapolis’ Cedar-Riverside neighborhood has been improperly used as an address for more than 140 voters.
State records show that 419 Cedar Avenue S. has been used by some of the voters as far back as 2008.
No one lives at the address, which is a Somali-dominated commercial building housing several small businesses and a popular mail center. Several dozen apartments upstairs use a different building number. Records also show that more than 90 of the registrants at that address have voted in previous elections, although it’s unclear how many voted while registered at 419 Cedar.
The investigation reignites a long-running debate about voter fraud in Minnesota and is the latest flash point in the highly competitive race between Capitol stalwart Rep. Phyllis Kahn and Mohamud Noor, who would become the first Somali-American elected to the Legislature if elected. Kahn was denied the DFL endorsement in April due in part to Noor’s ability to turn out Somali supporters. An August primary will decide the fate of the race.

I'm not the one posting trash stories about people standing in hot lines in November.

Well your an ignorant tool, down here most of the polling places are in churches. So no matter how long the line we are inside. They even bring elderly folding chairs if needed, but I live in a conservative community. We take care of elderly. No matter how they vote.
