Election Interference: Here are the Four Colorado Justices Who Voted to Exclude Donald Trump from the 2024 Ballot

Okay my fellow MAGAs and law abiding citizens. Should they be given the treatment like Kavanaugh and Amy Barrett got outside their homes by radical leftists? They've been identified. They've committed treachery!

Trump was not indicted for "Insurrection."

Trump was not found guilty before a jury of his peers for "insurrection."

These 4 judges indicted, tried and found him guilty of "insurrection," on their own, outside of their legal role in our system.

These 4 judges need to be impeached and removed from their offices, and should also face criminal penalties...Civil Rights violations should be pressed...

Did you read the ruling? They're disqualifying Trump based on a crime he was neither charged with nor convicted of.

If that's going to be a new legal precedent, there's nothing stopping any state from removing any candidate they want. Red states (and even blue states with conservative courts, like Louisiana) will be lined up to eliminate DemoKKKrat candidates from their ballots.

This is what you wanted...
Doesn’t each state have a right to make that call if a disqualification is proven in their courts?

The Secretaries of State for each state have the final say on who's on the ballots. They do not even need a court ruling. But in this case, they've deferred to the courts.

You should do some research before you post.
Nope. The SCOTUS can overturn if it violates the Constitution.

Let’s say the Secretary of State for Mass is one of these antisemites so prevalent among the left these days, and she decides “No Jews” on the ballot. You think that would hold?

What judge? Where was his insurrection trial held?

As far as Congress goes, that was a one-sided witch hunt.

The 14th amendment does not require that the person be convicted of anything. None of the Confederates were ever charged after the Civil War. The 14th has already been applied to people that were never convicted.

Hey - Nikki Haley should start looking awful good to you now!

No secretary of state can tell any political party who their nominees can be. Not can a secretary of state disqualify a duly chosen nominee in a federal election. They can only control the process.

200 pages can't paper over the fact that he hasn't even been charged with insurrection

Yes he has in a sense that he has broken his oath of office and attacked the Constitutional United States election certification proceedings.

Fourteenth Amendment, Section 3:

"No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability."

Here's a summary of the charges Trump is facing in Washington, D.C., for attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 election:

  • one count of conspiracy to defraud the United States applies to Trump's repeated and widespread efforts to spread false claims about the November 2020 election while knowing they were not true and for allegedly attempting to illegally discount legitimate votes all with the goal of overturning the 2020 election, prosecutors claim in the indictment.
  • one count of conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding was brought due to the alleged organized planning by Trump and his allies to disrupt the electoral vote's certification in January 2021.
  • one count of obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding is tied to Trump and his co-conspirators' alleged efforts after the November 2020 election until Jan. 7, 2021, to block the official certification proceeding in Congress.
  • one count of conspiracy against rights refers to Trump and his co-conspirators alleged attempts to "oppress, threaten and intimidate" people in their right to vote in an election

I’d love to debate the merits of the decision if anybody is up to it

Hey dumbshit, this is my second attempt to confront your BS suggestion that you know something. Raise one merit, or as many as you like..............Go!

It is obvious that the Confederates were Confederates.

The only people to whom it is obvious that Trump is an insurrectionist are those suffering from TDS.

…. In accordance with the Constitution. You can’t remove someone from the ballot due to a false charge.
You missed half of the statute. It also bars people from holding state office. Which involves a purely state election. The federal government has no role in purely state elections.

Such as states can allow illegal aliens to vote in state and local elections.

Answer these questions...

Is insurrection a crime?
Does a person accused of a crime have the right to defend oneself when accused of a crime?
Please provide a link showing where DJT was charged with insurrection.
Please provide a link to a conviction for DJT for insurrection after a jury trial where he presented his defense.
Insurrection is both a crime and a description of a violent uprising against the government.

Yes a person accused of a crime has the right to defend themself

DJT was not charged with insurrection. He was impeached for it and he was sued in CO for it because a state can’t prosecute a federal crime

There. Direct answers to direct questions

The Secretaries run the elections and decide who is on the ballots. The Secretaries also certify the elections.

Sure, any group of people can call themselves a political party and declare ANYONE to be their nominee - but unless the SoS approve, they'll never get on the ballot or be elected.
