why can't he create his own version of twitter?

I feel he will still buy it after he rakes them over the coals and gets a much better price and exposes them. I think part of his game is to discredit the censors and agenda pushers as well as buy Twitter and let it be free speech uninhibited by outside control. He doesn't want to just stick a knife in them, he wants to stick a knife in that's been dipped in poison.

He could start his own but by buying Twitter he buys brand name recognition. He buys an instant huge user base which is what's really of value to him. Not to mention the cherry on top is probably him getting to take away a major tool from the people he dislikes for himself.

Twaffler has worse problems than Musk....They've been lying to the shareholders about how many of their "members" are fake.

And that sale price just keeps going down.
At this rate, Musk will end up paying a few hundred thousand for 80%.
