Monty Python Icon John Cleese Has 2 Brutal Questions For Evangelical Trump Fans

Progressives are beside themselves as to why Evangelicals support Trump. After all, did he not cheat on his wife? Did he not spend the majority of his life chasing women and making money? How can Evangelicals support a man who once said that he never felt compelled to ask for forgiveness for any wrong doing in his life? In this article, we see John Cleese desperately trying to make sense of this in order to try and sway people to not support Trump. It is rather comical.

Naturally, there are a wide range of reasons why people support Trump, and so it is with Evangelicals. But really, the main root of their support stems from the abortion issue. It's really not that hard. Evangelicals view the unborn as human beings, and as such, taking their life is murder.

It would be like asking Christians to vote for the Nazi party because they have fabulous socialist programs, which they did have. Or asking Evangelicals to vote for the Nazi party because they support environmental policies and protect animal rights, which the Nazi regime also did.

Simply put, Evangelicals will not support a party that uses abortion as one of its pillars for its foundation, let alone a party that not only wants it legalized, but wants to use their tax payer dollars to fund it.

Hopefully this will conclude the mystery as to where support for Trump comes from, and yes, the appointment of Kavanaugh is key to this fight, something that Dims have made everyone painfully aware of.

In a way, the Dim attention towards Kavanaugh does nothing more that stir up more and more support for Trump around the country, something Dims are too stupid to really understand.

True enough. The evangelical cult is against abortion but it ties into their belief that we are in the "End Times". According to them, God wants souls, which is a common enough belief in Christianity however, that's where any similarity ends. The cult believes that if you save a fetus from abortion, once it is born, it automatically releases it's soul to God. They don't care what happens to the human part, unless you join their cult. Also, the cult believes that saving this soul automatically registers points with the god-o-meter and those who have the most points are "saved" and are swept up in the rapture. tump is just a useful tool to them.

This explains why the evangelicals treat life so callously after a child is born. It also explains why you might hear cult members talking as if they are already saved and going to heaven, in the rapture. This chart should explain it better.

You're just parroting lib talking points. Libs do this and try to pass if off as fact.

The Left insults people and then they complain that they won't vote Democrat.
Republicans are just average mainstream middle class people, but the Liberals call them Nazis.

The alternative was was a bisexual, lying, corrupt old bitch who supports abortion and likely has a daughter who isn't Bill's.

Yeah that played well with evangelicals

Which is why Trump had his magical switch to being pro-life once he choose to run as a Repub.

Evangelicals believe in redemption. All sins can be forgiven (except one, which is not here relevant).

Given the objective evil of today's American Left, the bar is not terribly high on being worthy of Evangelical support.

Perhaps they are basing their support on what Trump DOES, rather than what he says or "tweets." Again, on that basis, Evangelical support of Trump is very understandable.

Just because he wouldn't be a very good Sunday School Teacher or "role model," doesn't mean he can't be a GREAT President - which he manifestly is.

Funny that the evangelicals see the unborn as children but not the born. They see the born as target practice.

Putting politics before faith, it is nothing new and has been going on for a very long, long time.

No, more lib parroting unfortunately. Libs want these children to stay in poverty. Libs see them as targets.

The one sin they see as being unforgivable is gay sex. We all know it.

"...believes that saving this soul automatically registers points with the god-o-meter and those who have the most points are "saved" and are swept up in the rapture"...... Incorrect, the law was fulfilled when Christ was resurrected. Grace now......not works.

Under Trump, America's religious right is rewriting its code of ethics - From scorning immigrants to accepting the president’s profanity, evangelicals are proving just how flexible their values can be;

1. Lying is all right as long as it serves a higher purpose
2. It’s no problem to be married more than, well, twice
3. Immigrants are scum
4. Vulgarity is a sign of strength and resolve
5. White lives matter (much more than others)
6. There’s no harm in spending time with porn stars
8. It’s all right for adults to date children
9. The ends justify the means
