Republicans are going to have to be amenable to doing something to protect the Affordable Car Act and all its provisions next year, after the ridiculous ruling from the extremist, partisanFederal District Court Judge Reed O’Connor invalidating the law.
While all the focus on the 2018 election was about protections for people with pre-existing conditions, that’s not even the most popular part of the law—among Republicans!
The only thing that Republicans don’t like about the law is the hike on Medicare payroll taxes for the wealthy (of course). They even approve Medicaid expansion by 55 percent! Looking ahead to 2020, as they all are, their own base is going to demand they fix this.
Nice.
Everybody is going to be a healthcare voter in 2020, even Republicans
There are two things that are satisfying about this post. The first is that more, and better healthcare, will become more available in the future.
The second being Republicans are in a no win situation, and will be forced to express their undying love for Barack Obama's and Nancy Pelosi's healthcare law, that will cause many of them to seek healthcare. That's got to hurt. Can you imagine how the AM radio talkshow trash is going to have to spin that?
