Facebook Bans Milo Yiannopoulos, Alex Jones, Other Dangerous Figures

Should Facebook be banning conservatives?

In which one aspect I would develop is social media that is friendly to them and promote that base instead of complaining how they are getting beat by their own game.
And make a fucking killing doing it.

There's a lot of money in the business of solving problems.

.

Facebook announced Thursday that it has permanently banned a host of prominent figures it described as "dangerous" from its platform, including right-wing commentator and former Breitbart News editor Milo Yiannopoulos, conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan.

The platform said it has determined that those figures are "dangerous," and removed them under their policy barring individuals and groups that promote hateful and violent messages.

The tech giant, which has been engaged in an escalating crackdown on hate speech and fear-mongering on its platforms, also removed neo-Nazi Paul Nehlen, who previously ran for the House in Wisconsin, far-right activist Laura Loomer and conservative YouTuber Paul Joseph Watson.

2019 will go down as the year where it tuned on Fox News, AM talk radio, and the fringe of social media.
Thoughtcriminals will be made Unpersons. Do not question Big Brother.
Capitalism at its best...
Nothing to do with capitalism. It's ideology, pure and simple.
It is a capitalistic formed business and all emotives emanating from the business are from capitalist, pure and simple.
Dick’s Sporting Goods Sales Sink After New Gun Policy

CNN’s ratings crater: Viewership at three-year low, down 26% from 2018

Reality disagrees with you.
I think you should understand that a policy change didn't turn them into a barter trading company, it's still ran on capitalistic forms of operations.

In fact, they are. Look it up. Its right at the top of the Bill of Rights.

Now, if the Republicans were smart, they write a law and declare that Facebook, being as influential as it is, is an object of the National interest, thereby bringing them under the influence of the First Amendment.

I don't think they have that kind of backbone.
That would be completely dishonest and contrary to the very intent of the 1st Amendment.

That is the worst possible solution.

The REAL solution is for Glenn Beck and his buddies to get together and develop their own social media platform and COMPETE with Facebook, et al.

They chose ideology over profits. Liberals suck at capitalism.

Not only that. His example demonstrates why it literally pays to NOT piss off your customers and potential customers.

This is LIVING PROOF of how freedom in business should work.

It will go down as the year the Left it would be fashionable to decide that the Free Speech of American's should be curtailed.

The First Amendment doesn't apply to Facebook. You fucking wingers are dumb as dirt.

A few years back, Glenn Beck, and a cadre of the right wing clown machine met with Facebook executives to complain about conservative messaging being silenced. It worked for awhile. Donald Trump changed the whole landscape. In just the last few months, the MSM has finally started ending the both sides do it narrative, and are honing in on right wing propaganda. They can do it on their own dime, but they aren't entitled to free air time on the national media, and they sure as hell aren't entitled to spread their bullshit on private internet sites. What is happening now is a very good thing. The right is losing not only the messaging war, but is now losing more and more ground on medium in which to spread it.

So, you want BIG GOVERNMENT to control your messaging and FREEDOM? Is that it?

LOL, what a dumbass. So you support blocking all speech you don't like. The 1st amendment applies to all speech son, just because you want to hide behind a platform that is privately owned doesn't change the fact that someone's rights aren't being respected.
The first does not apply to the private sector.
...unless, of course, it's a Christian baker asked to cater a gay wedding.
Those are public accomodation laws and i believe the violate the 1st amendment.
Those are bullshit.

yep, that is another thing that the Democrats, Fascist and Marxist have in common>> censorship

That is absolutely silly. There is no way anyone who is NOT Google can compete with Facebook. To even try is nothing more than throwing good money after bad.

Not to worry though, since its a left-wing business, they'll never be declared an 'aggressor monopoly' and nothing will ever come of it.

The best that can happen is people discover what it is that Facebook thinks is 'Dangerous' about these individuals (Other than dangerous to the lies they tell) and then expose them for it.

I wouldn't count on the media arm of the DNC to do it though.

If folks would just start using the alternatives, this problem would not exist.
