In order to conduct a "forensic audit", you need trained "forensic accountants" - people who have degrees in "forensic accounting", and to start with you need to have an BA or Masters in Accounting. Addition courses in law and the rules of evidence would also be useful.

The Arizona fraudit was conducted by untrained volunteers, which is why we've been laughing about it since the beginning. The fraudit has been less than transparent. The Arizona Republic has sued Cyber Ninjas for copies of all correspondence and emails between the corporation and the Senate in regard to the audit, which as a subcontractor to a governmental organization or body, they are legally required to provide.

The Department of Justice is now looking into the activities of the Cyber Ninjas and their fundraising on this audit, with a view to looking at fraud on the part of Jovan Pulitzer (not his real name), and other people looking to profit from these "audits".
