Fast Food Workers Going On Strike

Wrong again...like I said your grandparents great grandparents etc probably helped their neighbors out and vice versa that's called being a community...you have no clue what you are babbling about other than trying to tie Communities helping each other to communism. So full of shit...you keep on being an exploiter of the poor...its gonna come back to bite you in the ass and this is 100% why I am so glad Libertardianism will never get anywhere in this country...it exploits the poor worse than it does now. Now if we could just get the whole fucking system to collapse we would all be better off.

Look, you're an idiot who sits around smoking dope and contemplating your naval, while hoping for another OWS rape-fest paid for by SEUI so you can feel self-imporant and fantasize that a community is sharing all in common...

{Communalism as a political philosophy was first coined by the well-known libertarian socialist author and activist Murray Bookchin as a political system to complement his environmental philosophy of social ecology.

While originally conceived as a form of social anarchism, he later developed Communalism into a separate ideology which incorporates what he saw as the most beneficial elements of left anarchism, Marxism, syndicalism, and radical ecology. Politically, Communalists advocate a stateless, classless, decentralized society consisting of a network of directly democratic citizens' assemblies in individual communities/cities organized in a confederal fashion.}

You are an uneducated buffoon, son.

Ah so we now know what your fantasy life is. Sitting around smoking dope and picking at your belly. Well it sounds fascinating it really does but its not for me. I don't care what YOU think it is. Because once again you refuse to even read the wikipedia definition of National Anarchism you have no idea what we propose. We don't want a national government we choose small communities taking care of one another...you could even come by our facebook group and study a little bit. We aren't communists in fact we hate communism just as much as we hate capitalism. Continue talking out your ass because you are mad people won't bow down to the alter of capitalism aka exploiting others for profit.

We have established that you cannot define this economic system you supposedly support. When pressed, you run to Chomsky's syndicalism. You cannot provide a equitable system of distribution, nor a viable plan for production.

Your entire position is pure hate - you hate everyone else so you want something that isn't what they do - but you have no fucking clue what that might be.

Im curious, how much are the Five Guys Burgers in Manhattan? they are pretty expensive here in Naples,....$6.00 for a regular burger? god, I remember when a Whopper was 1.00 !

American Corporations could do better. They've attempted to go the Slave Labor route for too long. And they've been enabled by misguided people who for some reason, feel compelled to vigorously defend them at every turn. My guess is, they feel they're defending Capitalism when they do so. But i assure you, the Corporations don't need defending. They're doing well. It's the lowly worker who needs the defending.

If Businesses paid better, we would likely have less Citizens living off Government handouts. So it would benefit Taxpayers in the end. If you can't pay a worker a decent wage, you shouldn't be in business. So enough of the whining about needing Illegals to the jobs. You can't have your slaves. So it's time to get over that and move on. We should treat our fellow Americans better. We can surely do that.

Slave labor does not have the option of quitting and selling their labor elsewhere. It's sort of part of the definition of slave.

Each and everyone of those fast food employers has a stack of applications and more coming in every day. Each of the strikers should come back to work to find out that in their unexcused absence, they were replaced.

Try to see things from their perspective. Find it in your heart to have more compassion. There will be some good Karma in it for ya.

I wish there was a system that would also do the fries, drinks and what ever.

Now the consumer could press into the machine what they want and put the money in. ;)

end ups coming out in front of them like a soda pop!

Shoot, over at the local Weinerschnitzel I saw the worker pour frozen fries in a basket, then push a button and walk away. The machine lowered the basket into the oil, and a few minutes later, it raised up, shook for several seconds, then dumped into the pan next to the machine. The only thing the human did was put the frozen potatoes in the basket and scoop the finished fries into a container.

{In a similar vein, Wendy's International Inc. a year ago began rolling out grills that cook a burger on both sides simultaneously, eliminating the need for flipping.

The grills are now in 2,400 of the chain's U.S. restaurants. It has 6,400 restaurants in the U.S. and Canada.

The two-sided grill, which is monitored by a computer, dramatically reduces the previous cooking time of 5.5 minutes, said spokesman Bob Bertini.

Now it takes about a minute or less, he said.

The device also eliminates the need for an extra grill worker during rush hour, he said. }

The experts here claim the patties must be flipped. They must think that the place operates just as it did back in the 60's.

Back in about 1996, a cheeseburger here was around $1.10. Now its $2.45.
A small fries was $1, now its $1.95. And I get into trouble for filling the bag up to give the customer what they have paid for - a full bag of fries.

Unbelievable.

I wonder what the rules are for all of the burger franchises when it comes to dropping food on the filthy greasy floors? its always a matter of seconds. McDonalds? 10 seconds? I used to work in hospitality, and some line cooks refused to dispose of very expensive cuts of various steaks, if they dropped a 39 dollar filet, odds are, it still wound up back on the plate (but Im sure they wiped the floor grease off with a clean white rag).

I still laff at all of the stunts these kids pull with burgers. from taking a bite from the burger, farting on the burger, sneezing, wiping their pants, etc. before the burger went out the drive thru. LOL. kinda reminds you of some Beavis/Butthead cartoons.

If food ends up on the floor, it goes in the waste bin. You can't use it, if you dared to, and were caught, that would earn you a written warning, and probably a severe reduction in your weekly hours.

Our Arby's gives you a serving of turnkey on the turkey sandwich and have dark green lettuce and thin sliced tomatoes. The bread is multi whole grain good stuff. Half of one of those is a full meal for me.

Some of those other places you go load everything down with yellow lettuce, sour vinegar, and strong spices that keep you up at night. The meat is so thin you get almost zero protein. yuk!
