The relationship between McDonalds and it's employees is completely VOLUNTARY on both sides, Employee applies for job, McDonalds offers employee X compensation for X labor, Employee accepts or declines, doesn't sound like any sort of "slavery" that I've ever heard of.

Secondly define "decent wage", does it have anything to do with prevailing market wages for the labor that is being discussed? The price of labor should be determined SOLELY by supply and demand (just like everything else), to do otherwise is to short circuit the price mechanism and cause unpredictable unintended consequences in the labor market.

Keep in mind McDonalds has throughout it's history provided literally millions of jobs for people as well as career advancement opportunities (not to mention ancillary benefits like paying for their employees education, health insurance, life insurance, etc..,), it's not some plantation owner that is kidnapping people and forcing them to work for it
