Weather and climate has been changing since God made the place. Since we are the dominant creature of this planet, it was made specifically for us--not cute animals. So from that prospective, I seriously doubt that God created this planet with the intent of humans to live here and gave us all these blessings of fuel to stay warm, and thus destroying what he made.

The politicians of this country have been trying to get control over the people for generations. They have been pretty successful to some degree. However the two entities that stop them from total control are energy and healthcare. If government ever gained full control of those two things, they would have the ability to have total control over the people.

In our system of governance, they can't just take total control by force. The only way to achieve that goal is to convince people they need government to do so, hence, global warming.

Convince the masses that they are in jeopardy of losing their life and planet, and you will have them begging the government to save us from ourselves. Tell them they only have 12 years to live. Tell them the waters will swallow up land leaving us nowhere to exist. Then fly around on private jets and buy mansions on the water like Obama just did last year.
