Here's the way it seems to be working out. The FDA approves risky drugs with serious (sometimes fatal) side effects but requires the drug companies to contribute to a slush fund that compensates victims. (Certain) approved law firms make millions by suing for compensation for their clients who should have been aware of the side effects before they took the drugs. Listen to the side effects that drug companies are required to furnish with on the air advertisements. Why would a person risk death or disease in order to deal with psoriasis? Most of these new drugs lower the body's resistance to common diseases and it's possible that they contribute to the flair-up of diseases once thought to be under control.
