FDA prohibits Florida from using monoclonal antibody treatments

Lesh, even if you believe that Omicron is what 90% of the people are getting...then what about the other 10% that want the antibodies and that the antibodies are likely to help?
There are other mcas available that have not been stopped that do work on all of the variants

Also...that 10% aren't necessarily candidates for mcas That's overall infections

Is your doctor an infectious disease specialist?

Did he cite a serious medical study that showed anything of the sort?

SHE is certainly more educated on the subject than a blogger on USMB. Remember that it was the Cleveland Clinic who's research has been sited buy our President and government agencies on the subject of Covid. In fact before I decided on the shot I asked if I could have an antibody test first. The Clinic refuses to give antibody tests due to their failure rate. They are not political and only stand by research that is empirical.

You claim that someone from the Cleveland Clinic said that??

Yep. The vaccine does not fight Omicron. it fights Delta and Sars. The vaccine dose not protect you from getting any of the covid strains, it only helps fight it off when you do get it.

Here's the Cleveland Clinic and it sure doesn't say that

Maybe Ray was talking to a janitor and thought it was a doctor

So what does this article say that I didn't? This was written a month and a half ago and sited the CDC and Pfizer research, not their own.

Yea it does.

Not as bullet proof as it is against Delta but effective still

So the Cleveland clinic put that out 45 days ago. Yea...ancient history huh dunce? And you talked to that janitor when?

What it DOESN'T say is that vaccines are useless against omicron. In fact it says they are essential still

Its an upper respiratory virus and not a deep lung vurus and is less severe. That article plays the fear game. Omicron may very well end this and all that I know who got it here it wasnt jack.

Still have over a thousand dying per day and omicron is well over 90% of infections.

So yea...it's deadly...if you're unvaxxed

Delta is the one getting the lungs. Omicron is upper respiratory. It doesnt do the cytokine storm that will kill your ass. Which cheap drugs stop.

Monoclonals help save you from Delta. Pulling that product and off label uses is murder

You didn't answer the question - IS SHE AN INFECTIOUS DISEASE SPECIALIST?

Because what you think she told you is CONTRADICTED by all serious studies into this matter.

So you can take your anecdotes and shove them you know where.

It doesn't fight Omicron,, the vaccine only fights Delta and Sars. There are theories that it may reduce the symptoms but there is no evidence that it fights the variant itself.

No, she's a fucken doctor.

That's NOT what your vaunted Cleveland Clinic says

Where in the article does it state the vaccine works to fight Omicron?

To get the facts about COVID-19 breakthrough cases, we talked to infectious disease expert Steven Gordon, MD. He explains what they are, why they happen and whether vaccines are still effective (spoiler: They really, really are).

Breakthrough cases are, as the CDC also notes, to be expected....But another goal of vaccination is preventing serious illness. And in that regard, the COVID-19 vaccines are successful.

“Throughout the pandemic, we’ve talked about flattening the curve,” Dr. Gordon says. “And the vaccine has effectively done that. These spikes in severe cases of COVID-19 are primarily among the unvaccinated, not among people who are fully vaccinated.”

It’s not for you or the government to decide.
