February is Black History Month

February is racist Butthurt month

<sob> not FAIR......where is white people month?
Shhhhhh...... RW-er is here. Be quiet and maybe he will think nobody is here and will go away.

Poor little Snowflake

Nobody has a month for you

Any coulture that is so screwed up that they need to be reminded once a year that there are some people who share the same skin color as they that did great things should rethink why they're so screwed up. Black history month should be about where blacks are at, how did they get here, and where are they going. Answering those questions honestly would result in a black cultural revolution and an irradiation of the want for a black history month. White people dont need a month because they live every day in white history month. They don't need to be reminded that people of their culture created great things in order to feel good about themselves. The evidence is all around them and everyone else for that matter.
We actually had a culture in this country that we told were no better than animals. A culture we kept in bondage. A culture we had to kill 600,000 people just to set free. A culture that for the next 100 years we treated as second class citizens, wouldn't allow them to vote, wouldn't serve them in restaurants. A culture we allowed white terrorists to kill 3000 without punishment

That culture was forced to conduct a revolution to be given equal rights. A revolution where they endured terrorism, bombing, lynching, attack dogs, beatings ....all without fighting back

That culture contributed to our music, literature, language, entertainment. They even eventually elected one of our best Presidents
No... No they didn't. Obama will go down in history as one of the worst presidents ever elected in the United States. But you hang onto that dream. I understand... After novembers election results it's about all you have left. I won't take that from you. I'll let history have that honor.

Barack Obama...our first black President, will go down as a top ten President

Especially being sandwiched between two of our worst Presidents.....Bush 43 and Trump

You mean first half black presidnet? You see, reality matters. Obamas blood is not American slave blood. His father was an African socialist and his mother was a white hippy socialist. But no, he has no record that would put him in the top 10 other than the politically correct advantage of having a different skin tone than the others. Leftist logic dictates that he gets a heap of Affirmative Action points when grading his record, or lack there of, as President.

Thank you for so unabashedly displaying your biased ignorance. Anyone who thinks they can rank a presidents total performance historically speaking, after only one month in office, (and already fulfilling his campaign promises I might add.) Is simply a fanatical partisan hack, with no historical insight, or perspective.

Yet no matter how hard I try I cannot seem to muster one Fuck to give.

I'm sorry it's so hard for you to find it within yourself to acknowledge the fact that American history does indeed include contributions by blacks (even though it wasn't taught in your school).

The fact that they rose from that status without a violent revolution is worth celebrating

Don't you agree?

So as long as you're going to give General Lee the same curtesy I say celebrate all great individuals who rose above adversity in order to acheive something everyone thought was impossible.

Categorically wrong. He fought for his home. He fought for his country. Like all brave soldiers do.

Really, is that WHY he fought? He said, "hey, I kinda like this slavery thing. I'll think I'll resign my US Army post and join up with the Confederacy." And I suppose the soldiers that fought under him thought the same? They said, "Hey, I don't own slaves but what the hell, seems like a worthy cause." No buddy, you cant have it both ways. Either respect the great men of history or apply a double standard that cheapens all of history toward politically correct nonsense. Lee was respected by both the north and the south but you can't see the greatness of a man because of a lense of PC skin color. Once you drop the race facade and start understanding history in context a whole new world opens up. History is not a personal experience but an amazing amount of people take it personally.

and...clear evidence that an amazing amount of people take it personally ... the number of people still flying the confederate flag.

Correct, but I wouldent go as far as dismantling statues as some on the Left suggest.

I agree with nearly all of that. Now do you want some entitlement with that victimization?
You call it entitlement
I call it helping people who need help
You think people with visually discernable traces of sub-Saharan African lineage need help due to their appearance?
That's about as condescendingly racist as you can get.
