Goal of this thread

Try to see what we can put together from physical evidence gathered at the scene (or articles detailing that evidence). Witness testimonies are not to be discussed here. This thread will be edited by people who show new physical evidence.

Rules for this thread

Officer Wilson is to be referred to as an officer, police officer, cop or some other semi-respectable name other than his name. Calling him a tyrant, murderer or some other insulting name is not allowed.

Michael Brown is to be referred to as the suspect, victim, Big Mike or his real name or some other semi-respectable name.

Flaming either party gets us nowhere.

This thread is limited to what the evidence shows us in a collaborative effort. There can be alternative explanations for one or two pieces of evidence, but all the pieces as a whole will show us a more detailed picture hopefully.

The Evidence (Can be supplemented by others)

Gun fired twice in car, Blood on officer's uniform, blood on gun - FBI forensic tests showed the gun was fired twice in the car, with one bullet hitting Brown's arm while the second one missed, the newspaper said. - Michael Brown s blood found in officer s car on gun - CNN.com

First autopsy - Michael Brown s preliminary autopsy shows gunshot wounds (gunshot wounds, toxicology pending)

Second Autopsy - Private Autopsy Report on Michael Brown - Video - NYTimes.com , : http://www.nytimes.com/2014/08/18/u...-shows-he-was-shot-at-least-6-times.html?_r=0 Article

FBI autopsy -

The only thing this evidence proves is that, if the victim had been white, there would not have been the slightest implication of police misconduct.

point of order, referring to Mike as a victim is inappropriate if this was no murder by Wilson.

He is still considered a "victim" because his life was ended earlier than it otherwise would have been, and, by violent method.

so only people who have their life ended are victims?

Look, I get your point, but when speaking of legal cases, the correct terminology is alleged victim, because otherwise lends an air of guilt to the alleged murderer.

Nope. He is not an "alleged victim". He is very, very dead so there is no alleging involved. He may have been complicit in his own death, but that still doesn't negate his victimhood. Only news media is required to use the term "alleged" anyway. Court documents rarely use the term and when they do it is used as a descriptor.

incorrect, court documents always refer to them as alleged victims, AND there is no requirement that news media do so, it's just a custom.

Bereft of facts or logic, liberals often resort to manipulation of terms to promote their agenda. Thus Michael Brown is a teenage victim, with five year old photos to back that up.

It never fails.

There is concern that the OP suggests that Brown, who was killed, can be described as a victim. But....no concern that Brown can be described as a suspect. Suspect for what?
