U.S. petroleum demand is expected to fall 2.12 million bpd this year to 18.42 million bpd, versus 2 million bpd forecast last month.

Drillers have no reason to cut production. That's besides the fact that since oil and gasoline is a commodity, it's against the commodities regulations they manipulate prices in any way.
