Finally! A Privately Owned Express Rail Miami to Orlando

How is it an express if it makes stops and takes as long to get from Miami to Orlando as your car does.

As for not costing the state billions, you aren't too bright.

All Aboard Florida already has applied for $1.6 billion in federal loans, and plans to rent space at a new terminal at the Orlando International Airport for which state lawmakers recently appropriated $213 million.

That’s just the beginning. According to the Scripps/Tribune Capitol Bureau, the company also wants the state to pay $44 million to connect its lines with Tri-Rail, the daily commuter link serving South Florida.

BTW oh great one....Your link is to an OPINION piece....Keep up the bad work.

The hypocrisy from the libs on here is remarkable.
About a year or so ago, there was a thread dealing with some train in California that was supposed to go 4 billion miles per hour from LA to San Francisco.....At a cost of like 100 million dollars per mile for which the morons in Sacramento were willing to put their great great grandchildren into hock up to their eyeballs..And why did thye think this was a great idea? Because the California state government was going to 'fund' it....
Now that the private sector has successfully built a rail system, guess what? The libs HATE it.....And why is THAT? Because save for the LOAN procured by the private sector builders of the rail line, government is out of the loop.
