finally ...

Hey we disagree on most things, but I appreciate you giving props when you agree......Blind partisanship (and yes I'm very partisan/ideological) is really really bad.

A great heart touching moment with a child at the signing....if anyone thinks Trump is a cold heart watch that signing on YouTube...Trump will go down in history as Americas greatest president....

This should have been done ages ago. It will sky rocket advancements.

I hope they have strict penalties for scammers however. This is probably the reason why it wasn't allowed before.

Yet the inconsistent right opposes so-called ‘right to die’ legislation, which this basically is.

Absent appropriate, comprehensive testing, an experimental drug may be of no use at all, or potentially harmful – in essence allowing terminally ill patients to kill themselves.

Yes, it’s possible that the life of a terminally ill patient might be saved by a treatment he would otherwise not have access to, but those cases will be extremely rare, if they occur at all.

And if terminally ill patients are going to be allowed access to unproven experimental drugs, then they should likewise be allowed access to the means to end their lives.

This is more about the right’s unwarranted hostility toward ‘government regulation’ than saving lives.

Who pays for their medical bills? Our evil socialist health care system ?

I doubt that would be true with experimental drugs.

I can see the drug companies paying the patient/family if he/she used
them.

That would be beneficial to the company, one way or another, to see what
it does on a human.
