Because they didn't. Obama had the final say not any one of department heads that had to approve the transfer of ownership of those low yielding dirt mines from Canadians to Russians. Recall at the time we were just finishing up with the Megatons to Megawatts plan where the US purchased 550 tons worth of Russia's highly enriched uranium from those decommissioned warheads Ukraine gave up. Those went to our power plants.

Btw The mines Russia bought the rights to are for US consumption and produces only about 4% of our annual need for Uranium.

So we got their bomb material and they get to mine some of our dirt for us.

Hillary signed off the deal to allow Putin to buy 20% of our uranium AFTER receiving millions of dollars in ‘donations’.

20% of the mining capacity of the US. We don't have a lot of Uranium. Our Uranium mines only produce 20% of what we use in medical supplies and nuclear fuel. We import the rest. So basically Russia mines 4% of what we use in a year in commercial Uranium. Whoop-tee-fucking-do.

False, it was not a "russian deal to get nuclear material." Again, it was a deal for a Russian company to take control of a Canadian company for the purpose of mining U.S. nuclear material inside the U.S. to be sold to Americans.
