Floor vote will be Saturday!

If Republicans don't pull this off, they will be despised as weaklings by the American people. The stakes couldn't be higher.

This is history, and who wants to be on the wrong side of history?

If Kavanaugh is not confirmed, the Republicans lose the House and Senate because the Republican voters will be so pissed off.
Deep State knows it too, that's why they are fighting against him so desperately using even much dirtier tools than ever.

That would be a different scenario. If Democrats were able to stop him, then Republicans would come out in droves during the midterms. However if Republicans stop him, it works the other way around.

A couple of times listening to the testimony, I wondered if Republicans hired such a weak attorney so she'd blow it and nobody could directly blame them.

Whoa you didn't like Mitchell's even handed destruction of Ford? Mitchell nailed the lie on flying, nailed the inconsistencies in her testimony including serious lack of memory about anything other than the supposed "attack".

And after wielding her "velvet hammer" she's convinced even a rino like Bob Corker to vote for Kavanaugh by proving that there was no evidence to support the allegation.

I just don't think anything new was learned here. There was no "gotcha" moment at any time.
Get on your knees and thank God for that

YOU were not the audience today, independent voters and suburban women were

I kept thinking I wish Trey Gowdy was doing the interrogation. She did make some movements, but was really bland and not hard hitting.

By the way, what happened to her ast the last part of the Kavanaugh questioning?
See my reply to Ray

And she lost time when Lindsey demanded the microphone, something else er should be thankful for

“Each appointment to our nation’s Highest Court (as with all others) is simply too important to rush to a vote,” the lawyers’ group says.

The American Bar Association late Thursday called on the Senate Judiciary Committee to delay a confirmation vote on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh until an FBI investigation can be completed into several claims of sexual misconduct.

“We make this request because of the ABA’s respect for the rule of law and due process under law,” reads the letter, a copy of which was obtained by HuffPost. “The basic principles that underscore the Senate’s constitutional duty of advice and consent on federal judicial nominees require nothing less than a careful examination of the accusations and facts by the FBI.”

The ABA signaled in its letter that the nomination process was being rushed through without an appropriate investigation, effectively siding with Democrats who have called for the Justice Department to look into Blasey’s claims.

“Each appointment to our nation’s Highest Court (as with all others) is simply too important to rush to a vote,” the letter, shown above, says. “Deciding to proceed without conducting additional investigation would not only have a lasting impact on the Senate’s reputation, but it will also negatively affect the great trust necessary for the American people to have in the Supreme Court.”

It concludes: “It must remain an institution that will reliably follow the law and not politics.”

Great news! Will Senate Republicans heed ABA advice?

The ABA was infiltrated by the left eons ago. They had to stop using their recommendations because they were biased against conservative judges.

How can Senate Republicans possibly ignore this letter signed by ABA President Robert Carlson?
Because the ABA is a tool of the left, and Republicans know it. That's why the ABA is no longer allowed to pass on recommendations for Supreme Court justices. They abused the privilege by giving bad ratings to conservative judges, so they were stripped of that privilege.

Credible proof? Link?

This is the same bar association that gave him a 100% recommendation.

Yep, but that was before all the latest accusations. Now the ABA wants the FBI to investigate.
I'll take "shit that will never happen for $1,000", Alex.

The battle is over....You moonbat freaks lost...Better luck (not really) next time.

When it's clear that the Democrats use their MORE TIME to come up with another wacky accusation one after another after another... it helps you to remember they had plenty of time to investigate the Ford accusation well before the deadline. We are supposed to believe springing all this at the last second was not a stalling tactic?? They had already made it clear they would deny Cavenaugh no matter what, didnt they? so why should people be so foolish to believe they respect any sort of process? Is there really anyone that big of a fool? I dont think so .

You can bet their next move will be to Impeach Kavenaugh if they ever get any majority
